So when are they gonna fix this game and make it so you don’t have to sit in Heart of the Mists with your thumbs up your kitten waiting for queue to pop?
Clearly no one put any thought in when this map was made. Classes with a controlled pull (engi, mesmer, thief) have a very clear advantage in this map. This map should be removed from solo queue and anyone who says otherwise doesn’t want so because they main engi, mesmer, or thief. Before anyone here argues with me for no reason, I’m not bashing any of those classes, I’m bashing the map and its presence in solo queue. Oh and I’d like to ask, why I get the map 3/4 times when I solo queue, that number is no exaggeration, it’s literally 3/4 times i get it.

I like how this guy didn’t even the OP’s entire post before replying lol. WvW isn’t meant to be super balanced like spvp is, which is why the d/d ele is still useful in wvw but completely useless in spvp. If it bothers you that much, just run around with 10 supply and stealth traps, when a thief starts hitting you, dodge, put your stealth trap down, and dodge again, instant stealth debuff on the thief. OR just stop playing ranger, because everyone knows it’s a broken class outside of spvp
The most fun part about WvW, in my opinion, are open field fights. To that end, as friend has suggested to me, the ppt for each objective should be cut and the amount of points given for finishing someone off should be raised as such:
With a change, along these lines, WvW would become more combat oriented and less “siege up and camp inside a keep/tower” oriented. Players would also have much more incentive to finish opponents off rather than grind them down, making group fights much more interesting.
We are a WvW focused guild. We raid everyday, except Mondays and Fridays, during NA primetime. You must be willing to use guild builds which may or may not be similar to the build you currently use. We love to joke, have fun, and troll, but [EE] is not for people who take things personally or for people who like to cause unnecessary drama. That being said, everyone is expected to learn and get better; there are no penalties for dying and such, but you will be expected to learn and accept advice from others. But again, we enjoy playing and having fun and you will find many of our players to be very knowledgeable and/or mind bogglingly hilarious. When is ANET gonna do something about the skill lag in WvW? Or do they plan on nerfing and boosting classes a few more times first? Or perhaps start a few new live stories to give some more useless items first?
