I think the ability to have a squad only visible commander tag or having some type of squad markers without having a tag up is something that is necessary for many groups. I know this idea has been tossed out before and was shutdown but with all the new changes to WvW, it should be explored again.

The counter argument is something like its not inclusive of players, especially new players. I think that is a misguided statement. Commanders who command now, would still continue commanding even with this feature available. Many times smaller groups do not tag up not because they do not want to be inclusive, but to not detract players from the main force. The structure of play would not change with this add on, but it would be really appreciated by smaller groups.
