Looks like you have a corrupted Windows system file. The “image” here refers to a copy (an image) of an executable module loaded into memory so the Windows application can access its code.
The file’s not a part of the game and shouldn’t be a part of any drivers either, it’s there on a stock Windows install.
Can you get a copy of the file from another similar Windows system? Might save you the reinstall. You may have to tinker with the file’s security permissions to be able to replace it.
Thank you for replying and yes, I can get a copy but do you have any method or ways to guide me to tinker with the file’s security permissions?
I keep getting spammed every second with an error message saying icm32.dll has an error (I attached a screenshot of the error message below). I have tried updating all my drivers, repair windows, uninstall and re-install GW2, testing my memory, scan for virus/malware, system restore, cleaning out my registries entries but none had work. My last resort is to do a clean installation of Windows but I want to see if anyone has any method to fix this problem before that. Any help would be appreciated.
