Hello. After some patches to fix installation problems and crashes issues the intro music for all races continues to be bugged. I’ve read some people is experiencing the same problem.

Hi all! 19.03 patch fixed the problem for me (I also have to play in windowed mode this week along). For all of you that still have to play it that way I used this trick I’ve read: in settings you can change to full screen and works fine. So entered windowed mode and once inside the game change the setting to full screen.

I also have Windows XP .

Though finally with the latest patch I was able to reinstall the game correctly (no more tricks or playing windowed mode anymore) now there is an issue that I wanted to report:

When you create a new character the intro music is replaced by the Guild Wars 2 music, and this happens with all the races. Not a big problem to play the game, but the race intro music are enjoyable.

Just exactly the same problem for me! I’m going to try this evening the solutions I’ve read in the forums. I’m going to try this one:

1.) Create a folder for the game to install in. I created a folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\GW2
2.) Move the Gw2Setup.exe file into this directory and rename it to Gw2.exe.
3.) Run the installer.
