Sorry about the kittenty title. Supposed to be Anet making money off transfers from leagues.

Just a random thought and wanted to know what the wvw community thought. I’ve been reading a lot of forums recently and it seems that Anet is purposely making transfers more appealing in order to increase gem store transaction for people to transfer to higher servers. This means they can semi control a profit increase and make money. This could explain their apathy toward the WvW community. Any thoughts?

as for the guy who spotted our “zerg” in the skritt caves, it’s called a karma train.. your players do get personal WvW points for that y’know?

i completely agree with Dovgan.. the only thing i’ll miss of [als] is the money they spent on upgrades.. our server just needs to reconstitute itself

Strong words coming from the server who is incapable of taking anything major on our bl and is scared kittenless of us in the open field… Go back to SBI bl while they are not playing to make yourself feel better about you points.

LOL, We fought SBI for hours on even numbers until they gave up on us and went to EB to take all of your stuff. And scared in the open field lol? You must be joking right? Thats what you guys do hide in towers until you out number our attacking force by 3 to 1.

I don’t think its possible to fit that many in a tower, just saying. So I call BS.

If you look closely AR has there back turn running into tower on even numbers…

One of the best WVW matchups Anvil Rock has ever participated in. Awesome job to SBI and IOJ for the great fights all week long. I wouldn’t mind fighting you guys another week.

I cant speak for all of AR but I can tell you that I’m taking a week off commanding to just relax, refresh and help train some of our new ppl in the guild and educate on some more WvW tactics. I am also seeing a huge decline in participation in WVW from AR so it might take us dropping a tier or a new matchup before we can pose any sort of challenge and re-energize our server.

Great fights this week from everyone. It feels like everyone has stepped up their game. I know that AR has also learned a lot more from this week than the previous weeks combined. I am sure BP and Ebay can say the same thing. While this might not be a silver bullet for BP or AR, this has improved the WVW community.

Great fights all around this weekend. A lot of people that I ran with enjoyed seeing Ebay in 3rd place ppt most of the weekend. On a side note the GH Norm Commander with the hammer was one of my favorite opponents this weekend. Keep up the great fights.

Sadly this will never happen. As soon as a guild hits resistance against Ebays defense they pull off and start hitting bp’s since it is an easier target. If we could coordinate it, the pugs would blast each others border lands and kitten us off leading to what we have encountered for the past month of hitting each other. Wth hit me up and maybe we can work something out.

Guys, seriously, just leave the transfers alone. It does make sense if it makes them enjoy WvW more and no amount of complaining from anyone changes that. If they had underdog mentality and left EBay for BP or AR, great for them. If they left AR for BP and now they feel like they can finally get the support they craved to attack the top dog, good for them too. If they left either to join EBay because of whatever reason, we will welcome them in with open arms.

If they were passionate WvW players, it’ll be a great addition to any server they join. If they were casuals looking for more fun then there’s a good chance they will be the first ones out the door when we are in BP’s shoes in a face off against SoS in T4. Either way, only time will tell what impact, if any, a small scale transfer has on anyone. Yelling about it in this matchup thread as if any of us had any insight into anyone else’s mind and game experience is futile.

Good call. A lot of the people that transferred are good friends and good players. I hope they do well and look forward to fighting them in WvW. Nothing will be done talking about it on the forums. Good luck to the people that transferred and hit AR with your best. Oh and the AR inside of me says thanks for the additional badges.
