I was able to get on my other characters finally by using the -clientport 443 argument in my GW 2 shortcut. However, my main character is still stuck at the loading screen to Harathi Hinterlands. I was in Gendarran Fields before zoning in to Harathi. The —maploadinfo option still says “STATE_MAP_DOWNLOAD_ERROR”. I guess maybe the Launcher will eventually download said zone file and allow me to play that character again since I still have haven’t gotten any response to the ticket I submitted.

Worked fine all day…until I had to download a new zone. Rather than keep playing while it downloaded, I told it to download in the Foreground. I got stuck on the Loading Screen. I left it on said screen for about 30 minutes without any luck. I logged back in a few times with the -maploadinfo option, and it kept saying STATE_MAP_DOWNLOAD_ERROR on Loading Screen. Now, I can’t even get back to character select screen. As soon as I click Play on the launcher, my download speed drops to 0 kb /s and will go no further.

I already tried resetting router, deleting .dat file, and repairing. I also restored a backup of my .dat file, and it still doesn’t work.

I had no issues prior to this patch being deployed. I’m downloading latest nVidia drivers as we speak. Attached is a copy of report from Game Advisor.

I tried re-running tracert to several of the server IPs in the log file, and there were numerous lag spikes and request time-outs. There were no connectivity issues on my home network or getting to AT&T’s servers…
