Guild Wars 2

At this hour 60% of the players I come across are botters, groups of 3 – 7 people in every ffing zone. Playing on Aurora Glade. Please, these things take away all the eager to play for me.

After being unable to play because of the disconnects to character selection screen (every 5 min or less) I decided not to play with my lvl 79 engineer, but make a new character (thief).

I played to lvl 8 now and got zero disconnects in the human beginning zone. No problems at all.

The fact that it only happens in certain zones, makes me believe its a serious game-issue and not something that is wrong on my end. (ISP or firewall or videocard). Also the fact that when the disconnect is about to happen I can run around for 15 sec without being able to cast spells before I get booted to slection screen, makes me think it is not a video issue, but really a connection thing.

I had some major lag spikes, but never disconnects.
Today however I decided to start exploring all vista’s/POI/etcetera in other zones, where I havent played in a while. (Im currently lvl 78). When I went back to lower level zones today I got random disconnects to character selection screen.

In 50 min time is happened 4 times now, in 2 different zones. Got me killed twice.

This is kinda unplayable.

Does Areanet read this thread, or is it advisable to report a ticket?

Im having this issue too. It started happening last 2 days and only in the evening (European evening). It happens every 20 sec or so for 1-2 sec, very annoying.
I played very many games and I never have encountered lag/packet loss issues.
