I was doing a lvl 61 Fractal today and I got 1-shot by 16k Agony ticks. This is weird, since I should have 129 Agony Resistance. Gw2 build is 55,511

Hey,
I’m looking for a serious guild that is willing to get me into speedclearing Dungeons and Fractals (and RAIDs when they arrive). I don’t really have much experience outside of pugs but that’s because I recently started playing again, and it’s really hard to find guilds that teach at this point in the game.
Why should you take me?
I’m a long time GW1 player, I did exclusively high-end pve content and have been part of several records in GW1. I also had the largest YouTube channel dedicated to GW1 speedclears: GuildWarsUploads. My weakness as a player is that I find it hard to identify my own problems in my gameplay so I can’t really tell how to improve. However, my biggest asset is that whenever I get explained vocally, I will never forget it, and get it right really fast and never do it wrong again. With my experience from GW1, and some teaching, I feel confident that I can be a formidable asset to any high-end PvE guild.

I’d like to get mentored on FotM, on EU.
Cheers!
Pretty sure everyone does. I’m still surprised it takes them so long to do what seems to be a small fix for a huge problem
Currently Dessa’s Krewe doesn’t offer anything, even when you have the required Fractal Mastery. An error pops up that says “That content has been temporarily disabled. Please try again later.”
It’s been like this for a few days and I’m pretty sure it’s keeping a LOT of people from progressing to higher Fractal levels. Can’t believe it’s not fixed yet since higher Fractal levels were such a big part of the HoT update and a lot of people can’t get the required Agony Resistance to proceed further.
Aight, so looks like what I currently have isn’t even close enough.
Then here’s my next question. How would it look if I would keep playing in 1080p. At the moment I have a 27" 1080p monitor I’m considering is a 24" 2160p monitor. My reason is that my current monitor is too large for my desk so I’m gonna sell it and I’m just exploring my options for the replacement. I would really appreciate the extra pixels for stuff outside of gaming so playing GW2 at 4k isn’t my only goal. How would it be to keep playing GW2 on 1080p, but on 4k monitor? In theory I would say it would be fine, maybe even sharper, since I’m going from 27" to 24" while having the same resolution I’m playing at right now. Just a theory though, how would that be in reality?

Unfortunately, my motherboard doesn’t support SLI, only CrossFire. What would be a suitable upgrade for not too much money? Getting 980, another 960+motherboard, a better single GPU or something else all together?
Would it maybe be possible to just get away with my current system and take a slight FPS drop for granted or can you tell for sure that what I currently have definitely isn’t gonna cut it?
I would like to add that I exclusively play PvE, so no huge zerg vs zerg fights or any of that sort.
Hey,
I’m looking to buy a 4k monitor and I was wondering if my current computer is good enough to run GW2 on it. It’s the only game I play so no need to worry about other stuff I’m gonna do. My current setup looks like this:
intel i5-4590
Nvidia GTX 960
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz
Cheers
