Second Skin – gain light aura when you gain protection. using protection to reduce condi dmg is so limited since protection can be corrupted/removed.
or
You and your pet take less damage from condition while your health is above the threshold.

Twice as Vicious – think should grant furry along with it’s current effects.

Live Fast – doesn’t work with pet’s f2 why?

The other traits are ok , no pet boost / effects for leaving beast mode guess the plus is reviving dead pets.

So after playing some WVW and some PVE, I compiled a list of changes I wouldn’t mind seeing in the druid. The class is ok to play but I would like to see more synergy from other trait lines. Finally damage doesn’t seem to fill the astral bar at all.
Celestial Avatar:
Cosmic Ray – Would like to see some damage going out from this skill.
Seed of Life – Wish it pulse regeneration as well to proc Oakheart Salve
Lunar Impact – This is fine since it can proc Ancient Seed.
Rejuvenating Tides –1 stability per pulse
Natural Convergence – Poison Please, The skill is ok but wish it had poison or an effect to stop enemy from healing effectively.

Staff :
Solar Bean – Increase Damage modifier / apply burning per thick
Astral Wisp – give allies a boon / Damage the target (similar to Hunter’s Call)
Ancestral grace – if you travelling a shorter distance you are still locked in the form for the same time as if you travelled max distant.
Vine Surge – Apply bleeding or increase immobilized duration, Pet next attack applies cripple
Sublime Conversion – This skill is ok.

Glyph:
Range increase to 360, and some additional effect like break stuns and stability would be nice.
Glyph of Unity – Would be nice if it has stability (Person run out of the range really easily especially with a stun or movement impaired skill)
In Avatar form:
Glyph of Equality, Glyph of Empowerment and Glyph of Alignment make them ground target.
Glyph of Unity 600 range increase.

Traits:
Natural Stride – does the movement speed only occur in combat? Feel really slow.
Druidic Clarity, Grace of the Land, Verdant Etching – seems like overkill on condition clear.
Lingering Lights – this trait don’t seem to be able to compete with the other gm

Feedback on Druid:

Staff skills
Astral Wisp: Send a wisp to attach to your foe. While attached it will circle the foe, healing allies it passes through. (if pet is healed by wisp they gain resistance for 5 sec or they gain protection for 3sec) this would be similar to other weapon skills on the ranger.
Alternatively
Vine Surge: Send forth vines that immobilize enemies and cleanse conditions from allies. (Your pet next attack applies 5 sec cripple)

Celestial Avatar:
I think this transform should also affect your pet.

My idea was to make the pet grant regen/resistance/protect/stability(3stacks for 5 sec for stability) to nearby allies for 3 sec and can only occur once per ally(this effect doesn’t affect the pet. To make it so that core rangers wouldn’t really lose anything )?

Utility skills:
Glyph of Alignment: Damage and apply conditions to nearby foes. (Think this form needs a break stun)

Glyph of Unity: Tether yourself to nearby foes. Whenever you receive damage, deal damage to the foes tethered to you. (Think this form needs stability)

Traits:
Ancient Seeds: Striking a stunned, dazed, knocked down, or launched foe summons roots to entangle them. (I think the pet should also be affected by this trait)

I would assume that the core mechanics of the ranger profession was pets?
Now the only trait from the druid specialization that supports this is
Cultivated Synergy – Using a heal skill heal allies around you and your pet. You can double up this ability if you stand next to your pet.
Neither the staff skills nor the celestial form have any direct influence on the pet, yes all the healing affects allies but they have no real influence on the ranger core design.
Another problem is that there is only one trait synergy and that’s with marksmanship predator’s onslaught and Ancient Seeds, Almost all traits previously and in the druid don’t really aid each other, especially from other trait lines. (Except Remorseless, two hand training and wilderness knowledge being the only notable synergistic traits)

Questions
Mesmer healing prism: What is the range of this skill and does it have an IC?

Protected Phantasms: Since the shatter effect is now on the Mesmer as baseline does the Mesmer also gain the protection?

Strength in Numbers: 600 radius seems limited in wvw setting and does it only affect 5 allies if so how are they selected?

Beastly Warden: why not create a f5 if someone equip this traits or place it on f1, since it has its own cool down, having it on f2 seems to force your pet selection, also is the cool down persistent on the ranger or the pet i.e. can I swap pet and taunt again without waiting 15 sec?
