I have all the Fractal Achievements except Swampland. I read this achievement bugs out sometimes and the person complaining was told they’d probably get it on the next run. I’ve tried on this achievement since I was level 1. I’m 41 now and still have not received it. My fractal group and I always roll for the swamp first, so I’ve done it over 300 times, most of those times without tripping. I’ve reported this bug in game twice. Wish anet would help me out. Anybody have any insight?

Okay. So my group and I were in Fractals and got the message that we’d be kicked in 3 hours to download the new patch. No problem, that happens a lot and we’re finished by that time. But lately (since the Southsun events) everyone has been disconnecting like crazy. Guess what happened. I got kicked on the last boss in the 3rd Fractal. Then the patch had to download before I signed back in and I wasn’t allowed to rejoin my party because they hadn’t downloaded the patch. All that work on a level 34 fractal and I don’t even get to level up, get my relics or the wiggly chest. On top of that, my party wasn’t able to replace me because everyone else had downloaded the patch. I know the connection problem wasn’t on my end because I didn’t disconnect from Ventrilo. Instead of fixing little problems in Malchor’s Leap, please fix the Southsun events so people aren’t getting kicked like crazy!

I asked my fellow guildies (go TRU!) if they had any laptops they’d recommend. One sent me to Newegg.com and I found this laptop. Think I could get some input on this one from y’all as well?

The only game I’d play on this laptop is GW2. I would get a desktop, but I’m hardly ever at home so I need something portable. My current laptop (not built for games what-so-ever) currently gets around 10 fps in pve and 1-2 fps (3 if I’m lucky) in the bonus round during fractals, so I guess anything would be a step up lol.

I know HP isn’t the best, but according to the reviews on this laptop it’s pretty decent. Just want to know what everyone thinks. Thank you!
