The visual distance on bf4 is far superior,the maps are pretty big but im not entirely sure what guild wars actually loads if im honest.But in terms of what i can see bf4 is miles ahead of gw2.

Thats a screenshot with the thing set to best visuals.switching to best performance only takes it up to 13.I realise im not looking at a blank wall,and as i said earlier it appears to be when i look at certain things in the distance,but i do fail to see how that can cause such a dramatic effect on fps

its on my D drive and theres only a couple of things on that,and its all recently defragged too.Im installing the beta driver atm to see if it changes anything.If not ill link a screenshot.

i play on a 1360×760 monitor,so yes those frame rates are achievable.and concidering how dead gw2 is,ive never seen more than 20 people in 1 place in plains of ashford.

no its not a vent thread,i really feel like playing gw2.I was standing in the plains of ashford on my theif acc and i was getting maybe 18fps on the lowest settings,everything turned off,i tried all sorts of setups and nothing seemed to change.My cpu isnt hot or even maxing out it sits at 40%.Ive unparked all the cores too.

i really cannot come to terms with the fact that guild wars 2 requires a stronger processor than a 64 man battlefield server with jets choppers amazing graphics a lot of water explosions and a sandbox engine,and i can get 60fps locked on ultra and dropping to 47 at the most extreme.

If that is the case then the programmers of this game should be ashamed of themselves.

Im running the latest driver for my card,and theres nothing in the background running.

i can OC it if i want,but it doesnt seem to make much difference.Ive also noticed that if i go for a birds eye view of my character i actually get 45fps,as soon as i start looking at a distance it drops straight down to 10fps again.

no its a single card.this game is a joke.

it doesnt matter where i am,the game struggles for fps even in open spaces with nothing going on,im currently standing at the starting place for those leafy men,idk what theyre called and im sitting on 12fps,doesnt matter if i change the settings to loewst possible or highest possible.

i have a 3gb twin frozr and an i5 650,i cant manage more than 15fps.Yet i can get 60fps on max setting in battlefield 4.

Any ideas?

550w psu
7gb ram
Twin frozr 3gb 7950

i cant get over 20fps even in the lowest settings,i had a gtx 550ti and i got better fps than this,i can play bf4 in ultra at 60fps….but i cant play guild wars anywhere,even in the middle of nowhere where theres hardly anything to actually process and it laggs like mad.

ive removed all the drivers correctly and reinstalled etc,i beleive its just badly optimized for amd gpu although i hope im wrong
