The first thing you can do is check if you’re on the latest Nvidia drivers. The new drivers is more stable and gives more FPS so its always good idea to update.

The other thing you can try is limiting the applications that run in the background.

The program disables some windows services that is not necessary when playing games.

But watch out when installing game booster. In the installation there is an option to install other crap you don’t need.

You can also try replacing your anti-virus with lesser resources demanding one like Microsoft security essentials.
