Guild Wars 2

Didnt feel like leveling another character so did the level jump to 80 with a Thief. My Question is this: I mainly want to play Staff and Rifle with him. I know I will not have access to the Rifle till expansion hits but would love to use my staff now but I do not have access to it. I have to get 30 points in specialization before I can open it, is there a faster way to do this. I should have just leveled him myself lol?

Hello guys, I’m just trying to figure out how to find things. If I want to complete the maps I’m having a little trouble with this. Sometimes if I have one or two things left in a certain area I can’t find them. When I pull up the map I look everywhere but have no clue where the places I’m searching for are located.

Is there an easy way to find points of interest or whatever I’m missing for map completion? Is there anything I can click on which will help guide me to what I need to find? Thanks much for anyone who can direct me

Hello, hoping someone can help me cause this really sucks. I just upgraded from ATI Radeon 5670 to ATI R7 Radeon 260x and when I did now GW2 running horrible. I’m getting blue flashes all over the screen which makes playing impossible 70% of the time. All other games work fine, tried updating drivers too newest version which is 14.4 and still having same issues.

I did not have the problem until changing to new video card. All current games on system work except GW2 which is my favorite game : (

Specs: Windwos 7, Quadcore processor 2.8ghz, 8 gigs ram. I even reinstalled my whole OS last night hoping was corrupted file or something. Anyway… pls help if you can, tks much.

Hey guys, I’m not a big forums person but seems like lots of people are logging complaints against various parts of the patch/game now and I just want to say….

Your game rocks, its without a doubt the best MMO out right now, going to give Wildstar a shot but absolutely loving the game right now and having lots of fun.

If Wildstar does not hold my attention I’ll be back and giving some money to you guys, you deserve it.

I used to run around and hardly seen anyone questing… as far as doing group quests… forget it…. killing champions… forget it…. now the game is alive and exciting again. Good job guys, your doing a fantastic job. Here is hoping the game is still around several years from now.

P.S. don’t raise level cap just keep adding content, if character levels get too high people don’t want to create alts…. ala… WOW!! I’m done with that game, its Guild Wars 2 and Wildstar and if Wildstar doesn’t knock my socks off…. GW2 all the way.

Dynamic quests really make this game come alive, this is the best questing game out, all others … BORING…. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Create player housing and you have a game more will flock too.

Best games out in order: 1. Guild Wars 2 2. Wildstar (hoping) 3. WoW 4. Star Wars Old Republic Everything else is waste of time.

First, let me say there are many aspects to this game which are fantastic but there is one area it is lacking and I’m not sure how it can even be fixed with current system the way it is… dynamic leveling.

It offers the opportunity to play over the entire world of Guild Wars 2, to do map completion etc… but…………………………….

One of the primary reasons we all play MMO’s is the idea of being a warrior, mage, etc… and working our way to being super powerful eventually (leveling, new armor, etc…). This never actually happens in this game. I have a level 50 guardian, 26 warrior and 37 ranger yet no matter where I go I die and in most places multiple times while trying to accomplish objectives lower than my level.

I don’t know the answer to this issue but if there was a way to make end game characters feel powerful in their new armor, etc… I believe this would draw many more people to this game.

As it is now it gets very frustrating trying to accomplish quests and move around in the world when your constantly dying lol. I’m not the best at MMO’s but surely am not the worst either so I know its not just me. I have played many MMO’s and the progression of getting more efficient in your class, more powerful as time goes on makes the game more exciting and offers something to look forward to.

As it is now the end game is this… too see new looks of armor which is cool but that is pretty much it. In pvp doesn’t matter cause everyone has same gear. In Pve does not matter either because of the dynamic leveling of everything in the world

Anyway, just my 2 cents on why Guild Wars 2 does not have more people playing
