Ok, I went in and wiped the Application Data directory that was referenced here: https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/92943007-Files-to-Help-Solve-Tech-Problems and restarted the client and it starts now. Hopefully that will help some one.

Conjectrue: Maybe the crash dump file is corrupt or something and the client tries to read it on start?

I don’t know what you did to wipe the Application Data directory? All I see in the link you posted was how to make a system profile report.

So I logged in today and downloaded Heart of Thorns. I played HoT for a solid hour, then after the second crash (the first one I ignored because it happens all the time on the Mac Beta), I could not even open the client. At all.

But this is normal as well; so I opened Activity Monitor and force-quit Gw2 which usually fixes the issue and then I would open the client again, but this time it didn’t work. I’ve restarted my computer and repeated the force-quit process many times with no luck. It’s a busy time for Anet, I know, but you know there’s a problem when you can’t even launch the game.

Please fix it!

Same issue here. extremely frustrating.

Same kitten thing happening to me. It’s so annoying that the Mac Beta Client seems to receive so many bugs than the windows one, and of course after 3 years it is still in beta.. what? I understand anet is busy but the tp is a big part of the game and it is just broken, despite the promises that they made when the tp patch was released. Please fix! Thanks!

Hi, I downloaded Entanglement when it released and I was surprised at the lack of content. This was before I realised that the instance in Kessex hills that I was supposed to enter just wasn’t there (no green star at all)
I just want to know if other people are experiencing the same thing? it’s really frustrating.
I really want to do this because the next instance (the Machine) seems really exciting from what I can tell.
PS: I run mac beta if that helps

When I get to the end of the quest I am supposed to pick up the crystal from the table. However, the marker is there, but the crystal is not. Also, Teyo has been defeated, but the log is still asking for me to defeat her.

Help anyone?
