The Wayfairer’s Reverie is coming up (starts Sunday Noon Pacific) next week, which doubles most rep gains and provides a chance at a relatively pain-free Tormented weapon, so I’ll be playing GW1 a lot next week. If anyone had the same plan, I would love to work together.

As far as I can tell, he’s mainly looking for minis, I have a whole 4 I think dedicated, so I’m looking to do just about anything and everything else. Stuff like finish campaigns, dungeons, quests to get the weapons, collect mats for armors and whatnot. I don’t have the money to purchase minis en masse or just buy the weapons from players.

You couldn’t be much rustier than I am, I only have one character, a Ritualist, using what as probably an old as heck build.

I forgot to add, my GW1 character’s name is Groa Kitel if anyone wanted to friend me, although mailing me in-game in GW2 or PM here would be more reliable.

I’ve owned Guild Wars 1 for quite a while now, but never really played in earnest. When I heard about the Hall of Monuments rewards I got back into the game a bit, but only managed to finish the Factions campaign before other things drew me away.

Every now and again I check guides/threads about how to get your HoM score to 30/50 and how “easy” and “fast” it is, but once I read what they actually do none of it looks fast or easy at all. I don’t have a guild or any friends who play the first one, and I don’t really have the time to solo all of it. Honestly, I don’t even have all my tapestries yet, and I never really felt like I was good at GW1, but now that my Ranger is my favorite class in GW2, I really want the black widow and other HoM pets.

I’m not trying to beg for handouts, although I wouldn’t turn away anything from a kind Gold Walking Among Mere Mortals, and I really have nothing to offer in either GW1 or 2, no rare minis or anything like that, so I’m curious if there’s other players who have an interest in raising their HoM score but like me, don’t have the time/help to get it done.

I started playing during Beta/Launch with some friends and family, but after a few months and half-way through leveling my second character I found myself playing alone. After managing to get to 80 and do my world completion on my Ranger solo I quit.

I came back at the start of the Bazaar of Four Winds, enjoyed some of that content quite a bit, and have been just trying to get reacquainted with the game. Now I am back and am looking for a guild to help me get back into the game for a more permanent basis. I currently have two 80s, a Warrior and Ranger, and a few others along the curve, the Ranger being my main and most preferred character. If I’m to believe anything I’ve read online (lol), Rangers are not exactly welcomed into dungeon/fractal groups with open arms, which has completely crushed any desire I had to pugging.

A few quick things about me and what I want out of a guild:
-Current stretch goal is getting myself Kudzu
-My main interests are eventually WvW and PvE (Dungeons/Fractals, events, and living story content)
-I’m kind of old school and not really a fan of the whole guild representing thing. Joining a guild is a commitment I believe you should be putting all or nothing into
-Strong, active, mostly mature community
-Not too large/small
-No guilds that mass invite/send those copy/pasted messages to everyone without a tag, unless they regularly purge their roster of poor candidates, it demonstrates a lack of quality control
-Decent name/tag (if I’m going to see it all the time I’d rather it not be awful)
-Varied interests individually, but a guild-wide focus towards WvW and/or PvE

Reply here or reach me in-game by whisper/mail if you think I might be a good addition to your guild. I am a rather active player, willing to adapt and learn to perform to the best of my abilities in the current game environment. I am unlikely however, to drop my Ranger in favor of a more widely-praised class. I have been on Blackgate since launch ankitten ot really inclined to transfer, but exceptions are always possible.
