The link you provided fixed the issue for me as well. That being said I think this should be fixed by Anet and not by users changing the setings on their computer. Some of the users are not confortable changing setings they know nothing about.

I’m from EU but I play on Blackgate and have this problem. I can’t say if it’s just because I’m from EU or is it also on NA servers.

I have the same problem. Worked just fine around 2.30pm my time; now (1.30am) doesn’t work. I ran the diagnostic on the Gw2.exe and some of the connections failed to connect:
206.127.158.31:80 – connect failed;
206.127.158.31:6112 – connect failed;
assetcdn.101.ArenaNetworks.com. – address lookup failed

Those are the errors I get.

im a bit unhappy by the fact that u can dye the horns in a different color. u get 1 color for like 95% of the helm and then 2 color slots for some parts on ur neck u dont even see… would it be better like 1 color for the helm, 1 color for horns and 1 for the neck part all together… or maybe 1 color for the dragon’s eyes?
