Guild Wars 2

Hey there,
We’re pretty new to the game and are both starting human warriors.

We don’t really plan on PvP any time soon so we want to know what are the best PvE builds for warriors? E.g weapon combos, armour stats, skills, traits etc etc

Firstly can you guys clear some thing up for me?

What is up with Nvidia and GW2?
I’ve heard their cards don’t work as well as AMD and that there are driver problems which cause FPS problems?
Is this all true? If so is it worth getting a worse AMD card than a better Nvidia one?

Back to the main point. I want a card that can run GW2 on high settings with above 60FPs on average.
At the moment I have a 7750 1GB which is ok, it averages about 55FPS on medium settings with no shadows.
Here are my requirements:
I only have 1×6-pin power for the card
Around £90 to spend, flexible
Good FPS on high settings.

Additional info:
i5 760 4x@2.8/3.33Ghz
8GB ram
500w PSU

Does anyone know what to set it to for a 7750?
It’s at 30000 now and i’m getting like 40 FPS at decently high settings.

This is the plot: I’ve already levelled a thief to 80 but my friends PC couldn’t run GW2 at that time and he’s getting a new PC soon so I want to start playing GW2 again with him.

The plan is for us 2 to just level up and have fun with the game, like it should be.

He really wants to play a ranger so what other class would go well with that?

Also you can suggest other class combos that you think would be good together that don’t include a ranger.

I don’t think we’ll be doing much sPvP or PvP at all but if we do I’m sure all the classes have their respective role so don’t consider that factor.

I was thinking double ranger for the “range” or ranger elementalist? – but tbh I have no idea what works, just post good 2 class combo’s below
