Doubtful. You probably made the accusation to belittle or besmirch your ‘opponent’.
I find little merit in your idea, but your attacks against the person of those that disagree with you only robs you of your credibility. Of course, that could probably be said about most of us. Oh, why do discussions so frequently devolve into barbarism! Woe is me, etc, etc.
I believe it’s more correct to say that, in time, the asura will destroy the world. They have an unhealthy disregard for massively large-scale risk, at least when they are the reason for it. Which also means an asura is the best person to stop another asura from destroying the world…
They seem to care more about their family members the a Charr typically would.
When you realize that the charr view their warband as their family, rather than their blood relations, not really. Charr would do anything for their fellow ’band mates.
Well, that is partially my point. So, yeah, really. They are not as careing about family as the Asura.
Pretty sure the ghosts and Fire Legion ties up way to many resources for the Charr to get to much done. As well as their being magic to resist the Charr technological superiority, but it is really a ghost/fire problem. And at the moment, the dragons aren’t doing anything to help as well, obviously.
No, they are definitely racist. The look down on other races, and would rather not work with other races either. They only do so because they have to in the face of the Elder Dragons, so much has been said a few times at least. Sometimes I am outright puzzled by why they aren’t all more like the Inquest.
I found it interesting just how terrible the Asura where. I always assumed the Charr would be the ‘badest’ guys, and they certainly have some of the same dark traits. But the Asura are simply a level above in being bad. I think the only redeaming trait they have over the Charr is their tighter family ties. They seem to care more about their family members the a Charr typically would.
I agree with LEGION, the Asura seem really violent. As well as very competative and arrogant, which probably plays a part in their ‘do it your self with flamethrower’ approach to thefts.
In my opinion it’s entirely possible that they might even get ‘old’ and then ‘die’, going to sleep, and then ‘bloom’ again, refreshed and renewed, like perennial trees/flowers do.
I’d love seeing that.
Yeah, that is something I want to see to. Only from ‘old age’, obviously, but something like this would be awesome.
That’s what bothers you? The first thing I thought when romantically involved sylvary popped up was how they both have the same Mother. Of course, it doesn’t work quite like how it does for humans(Or most other life.), and they don’t reprodouce that way anyway, but it was still a bit of a wow-moment for me. That they would be capable of romance just didn’t occure to me before that.
