They can be double-sided as well. I am DYING to play with something like this as a Thief. A melee/range hybrid. It would be absolutely PERFECT.

That kinda thing would fall under the Boomerang category, or “Throwing weapon” category.

Whip.
Crossbow.
Scythe.
Greataxe.
Hand to hand.
Boomerangs.

I’d like a few more sword styles, like more Scimitars, and Machetes, and also would like a Katana skin for Greatswords.

well its been posted over, and over, it means people want it implemented, maybe AAnet could listen to us instead of booting up the gear treadmill 3 months in…

I’m not going 3rd party, or going to that busted wiki, anet can just do this, it’s much easier, it would be a simple right click, and then you see what it looks like, I don’t even know how to wiki stuff in game, and neither do a lot of other people, I’m assuming.

Why is this not implemented yet?

One of the main reasons I don’t use the trading post more, is cus I’m hesitant about buying gear that I have no idea how it looks…

Please do something about it.
