Finally got all of my armor pieces along with my staff skin. Been aiming for a “King of the Dead” kind of look. I’ve got two different styles that I switch between because I like them both though I prefer the first one.

Well, level 72 and this is what I’ve got so far. I wish we had more options for the head slot, but other than Arah (which looks like crap on charr) nothing seems very necrotic… ANET HELP US OUT!!!

Since I don’t do dungeons, mostly play solo and guildless, I’m double eff’d in this department.

It seems like you may be overlooking the starter masques. I (and many others) personally think that they look great on the charr, particularly the skull and demon masques. Unless you have your heart set on a helm they may be your best options.

My Charr is a female elementalist named Feldruis Scorchfang, of the Blood Legion Scorch warband. She enjoys long walks on moonlit paths, spicy food, and murdering her enemies by burning their faces or otherwise exposed skin with the rage of the Iron Legion’s hottest forge.

7/10 I like the first name. It’s often hard to come up with a good female name in a fantasy setting without ending it with an i or a vowel sound. Not to mention that it has that Roman feel that many charr have in the current era. The second name is a little “obvious” but still sounds alright.

My male charr engineer is Vulcus Madbreach of the Breach warband.

@RogerAndOut I’d recommend going with Fog for a bit of a unique flavour. Personally I just find a combination of red, black and gold to be a little… obvious, if you know what I mean. Plus I think some amount of white would go well with your character’s look.

@doudinou That is easily the most holy-looking and adorable necromancer I’ve ever seen.

An update on my guy (level 29). Got some nice armor for his upper body from the personal story. I don’t like his boots very much and I transmuted some apprentice leggings on him because I couldn’t stand running around in student leggings. Overall though I’m presently pretty happy with how he looks.

My guy Rulke Guilescythe, hanging out at Hoelbrak at level 5-ish (he’s now level 16).

I’m hoping to achieve a “King of the Dead” kind of look once I level. He’s been fun to play so far.
