I’ve found (and the gw2 wiki agrees) that different “Master Mining Picks” have different equivalences. So one MMP will be ori level, the next might be only darksteel level, etc.

Don’t know if this is how it’s supposed to work (it makes them essentially useless IMO since I’m not going to risk getting a ruined ore chunk on ori nodes) but it’s observed behavior.

Do you have them equipped? They made a change to transmutes so it wouldn’t work on equipped items. The behavior is buggy but it should work to take the items off, transmute, and put them back on.

This, so much this. Even before the recent patch I wanted this, because I play multiple characters at different times, and I rely on muscle memory rather than looking at the skill descriptions. The “leap at things” key for greatsword guardians (was 4, now 3) is not the “leap at things” key for sword warriors (2). And that kind of makes my brain hurt…

Still waiting for a response on 120826-000572, ftr. (HoM / linkage issues.) I’m not going to ragequit or anything, but I do sorta want the HoM items I worked for

Level 12 Charr ele, doing the quest Deadly Force (iron legion siding with blood). This stage of the quest has a user-operational cannon with instructions to destroy the trebuchets and stop the ghost offensive. I have destroyed the three visible trebuchets but the ghosts don’t seem to stop coming and the quest doesn’t progress. I don’t know if I’m missing what I’m supposed to be doing, or if it’s bugged?

ObDisclaimer: I do understand that account hacking issues get priority etc. This is a bit more trivial, but it is also super frustrating.

I have two GW accounts, one with email A and one with email B. The email A account has 10 HoM points, the email B account has 35, and so I was very careful about which account to link — but I also wanted to use email A (because I am not sure how long email B will be around) for my GW2 login. I suspect this confused things, because the wrong account got linked — I have rewards and locked character names from the email A GW account, not the email B one.

I have a support request [Incident: 120826-000572] on this issue but haven’t heard back.
