I’m also having this problem with ‘error 7’ I sent a ticket off and received no useful help at all, they just suggested doing things I had already told them I had tried.
They didn’t pay any attention to what I said, and blamed it all on my internet connection, I contacted my ISP and they ran tests, nothing wrong at all this end.

They said the connection breaks as soon as it reaches the AN/GW2 servers and to contact AN about it, which I did again and told them that the problem was with their server connection, to which they replied “Thank you for letting us know that your problem has been resolved” then nothing, no other replies at all.

So they were completely useless and have buried their heads in the sand about this problem which has been going for at least 8 months.
Very disappointing and I am regretting buying the game.

I’m having the same problem as everyone here, bought the game about a week ago now and am regretting it, I’ve tried all the fixes people and AN staff have suggested and nothing works, it’s getting stupid.

This post is at least 8 months old, I would have hoped this would have been sorted by now. At least a few people I know that play GW2 have had the same problem and have contacted their service provider as suggested by AN but there is no problem.

It seems that AN are burying their heads in the sand with this one, they keep blaming people’s internet and pc’s etc, not taking responsibility for an error on their part which is disappointing really, I never had any problems with GW1 and thought that GW2 would be the same…. obviously not.

I am seriously regretting paying £42.99p (only got it yesterday) for a game that worked for 5 minutes then dc’s every few minutes, I have checked everything my end, no problems running anything else such as WoW or GW1 plus many other online games, I have tried all the fixes posted on this thread plus a few pointers from friends who play, still nothing, what makes it worse is there is very little correspondence from anyone who is supposed to help players/customers, and/or fix these problems so people don’t just quit playing all together, it’s very frustrating.
