Can anyone tell me how to get past Door Guard Elan? Its now night in game but the door still has no option to open the dialogue (I know password is password)

Last few hours the door has not become intractable. Anyone confirm it is bugged?
Have also experienced this. Was able to get in first time within 30 minutes of first patch but since then have been unable to interact with the door.
