Guild Wars 2

I was thank you guys.

The title speaks for it self. I bought the game when it was first released. However do to reason I stopped playing long before thorn came out. If I wanted to return will I be able to play at least some of the game like in WoW or do I need thorn to play at all.

I want to thank everyone in helping me decide to try out my new character which is a Human Ele. Everyone’s advice has been helpful and it was nice not to get flamed instantly like you would on other games.

I never did really judge my sylvari ranger as bad and I will keep him to play later.

Let me just say from what I seen the community here is pretty good when it comes to helping other. I bought the game as well as the guide just weeks after launch and enjoyed the look of the game and the races. My fav being the plant guys which I will most likely be making.

What I need help with like always is choosing my class. I haven’t gotten very far getting to about level 30 archer which I like over all but the melee seem a little screwy so I was wonder if maybe another class would be better. I post because yes I have the book but as a mmo things change all the time so a lot of its information is most likely lacking.

I’m interested in pvp and WvW. My play style leans heavily on a more Support like role. Almost always opting for working in a party then soloing anything. I never had the Killer instinct and enjoy enabling others to do the bulk of the killing. I also prefer to be in the mid mine. By that I mean not in the way back or directly in the front. I looked/like Mesmer because it had a neat mixture of close and long range attacks but from what I read on the Mesmer area it might not suit me.

So please any thought or should I just keep trying to master the Archer class.

I picked it because i wanted to be a 1 man army, so when i saw Seed turrets i was hooked. I and after seeing take root i am defently happy i picked it because now in battle im not just one im many.
