Thanks. I was hoping for a way to improve on my pet in my build, but I guess not; at least not without significantly stripping my own capabilities.
I have gone through several builds on my ranger up to this point and am currently sitting on this: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fNAQNAT8YjEq0waFLGsw1ag+ga9DEAjdzfYFY+vfQGrkgsJ-TZBBwAcOIAAuAAE3fAcZAIPBAA
I will swap between Spotter and Eagle Eye.
I’ve tried the different variations of this build, but find that I don’t feel as survivable (may just be me) without the toughness. http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Ranger_-_Read_the_Wind_Power_Ranger
I’ve tried both of these builds however, I miss my LB. http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Ranger_-_Condition_Survival and http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Ranger_-_S/T_%2B_A/D_Condition
I’m mostly happy with where I am with my DPS and my toughness however, I’m curious if I can make any improvements. Also I’m curious where the Beastmastery line comes in nowadays.
Thanks.
My Ranger is a commoner with a name that’s a play on the common raven. That said, my main pet for PvE and PvP is the raven and recently picked up my wolf. I’m finding it hard to give up the pair of them. The fear and knockdowns from the wolf are too handy and thematically I can’t seem to put away the raven. The raven and wolf also put out respectable DPS.
Prior to that I’ve tried to keep a pet on hand that provides a chill. So I have my polar bear, white moa, alpine wolf, and owl. I would keep one of these with a river drake/drakehound as my primary.
