No you do not understand my point. If I get a desert borderland I have to cap a different bl’s bloodlust. It is a handicap since any server with it when they spike they get additional points. I DO NOT think that the desert bl should get permanent bloodlust. Thus it causes an imbalance score since two out of three servers get an advantage. Getting the desert bl is not given to just weak servers its a mix. I feel that if its all to be equal either have all or nothing on the bloodlust.

What will be done with blood lust? I see an unbalance with the desert bl. There is a handicap to anyone who has the desert bl. The lack of 5 bloodlust cap points is a disadvantage to desert bl. If you want the +2 per spike from bloodlust in desert bl you need to go cap an alpine bl. If its a strong alpine/strong alpine/weak desert bl its a huge handicap. Also, you now get “major” bloodlust with only two borderlands. Where as before you needed all 3 border lands. I am always running with a group that encourages spiking to get a higher point score… Seriously who wouldn’t want the extra exploitable points right!?!?

To help curb server hopping or surfing anet should consider equal fees for linked servers. It is not fair that a tier 12 server that is linked with a tier 8 gets cheaper transfers. So if lets say the opponent pays in gold for transfers its a lot cheaper. Come on we all know people do it. I feel that this is a loophole that people are taking advantage of.
I am looking at doing a warrior build myself. I did take a look at the start of your build. The only thing is its based on clerics. I do not know how healing power scales for warrior (how I found your thread). I am doing some theory craft myself at the moment for a build.
I am looking at going full or mostly Nomad’s with some additional tanking and what not. This is just a preliminary rough sketch. I know that www.metabattle.com has some templates already started that you can build upon.
Tired of being run over? Does having no one to play with you in WvW getting old? Are you tired of Edge of the Myst’s to get that WvW experience? Great news!! I have a sure fire quick fix.
1. Use a credit card or gold (300) to buy gems to transfer.
2. Go up to tier 4 or above (Since there are more players and coverage).
3. Be informed: Read the official/unofficial forums and find the right server for you.
4. Log in and select the world you want to join.
5. Go into WvW and enjoy the game as intended.
Ok… I am sure there is going to be the balking at this. I am recommending this since I recently did this myself. General questions that people will ask and my personal answers.
Q. Why should I transfer?
A. To be able to play the game as intended due to a higher amount of players and coverage through out the day. The reality is that the players are going to be just slightly better if that. The higher the server the more people that will be on at any given time.
Q. Why should I give Anet my money?
A. I know from experience most people pay gems for outfits, finishers, dies, etc…. The reality is you can have a friend “help” you with the gold (300) or $20.00 on a VISA Card. Its sacrificing a hot date for two at McDonald’s if one splurges on past the $1 menu.
Q: What if Anet combines the servers?
A: Regardless of possible changes over the next year enjoy WvW. If you are waiting why? To get rolled when logging on? Spawn camping? Enemy Trolling you?
In the end its win win more bags for both you and the enemy. The chance to plug into another full and robust server with people who will help you. Don’t just take my advice see for yourself!
NOTE: I do not recommend any particular server just that it be tier 4 and above. Good luck and enjoy WvW!!

I can see how WvW can be intimidating for people starting out. It will seem like an uphill battle for any new player (especially an up-level).That is perfectly fine since you will not know the builds and nuances of playing in WvW. Due to the mega server and lack of fresh players most servers are very established and are fairly close knit at this point.
Quick and Dirty:
1. Determine your play style in general. Do you like to defend? Run in large groups? Solo 1v1? (YouTube is great to see this in action).
2. Join your server’s website and let them know that you are new and need help.
3. Join the server Team Speak or equivalent.
4. Try to network and connect with new people who are nice and willing to help you grow and show you the ropes.
3. Be open to suggestions on builds, rotations and techniques based on your play style.
4. Totally expect to get creamed and or killed a lot (to avoid this I would recommend running in the middle or back in zerg fighting).
4. Accept the fact that you are new and will most likely be going against people who are 2+ years into WvW.
5. Go in and have fun (That is what it’s all about for myself).
Why is it that it costs skill points and materials to get ugly superior seige? I like the new skins and would like to see a mid tier seige look better than regular seige. Down with the ugly seige!! Post if you read this and agree!
I have been playing WvW for a long time now. I enjoy the game and enjoy the close knit community of fellow players. It has come to a point where enough people have left that there is a significant imbalance. With the advent of the mega server and the inability to reach out my server is dying. We have no way to reach out and connect with others to try WvW. If they do come they do not know that they need gear, specs, food and buffs to compete. People do not know that they will most likely get rolled and have no support.
Since it has come to a point on my server that its very close to extinction due to:
1. Only 4 active guilds left
2. No night or early morning coverage
3. Nobody left to defend (see 1.)
3. The imbalance on match-ups
4. Other server guilds “paying for transfers”
5. People leaving for “better servers”
6. People leaving for better games
Due to the lack of support from the developers to fix the general mechanics (Maybe the gum gum drops and Foosball tables are getting to their heads). This game now is loosing my interest and I am not wanting to spend the money to transfer. This is due to the fact if its not tier 1 it will have similar issues.
If anyone has some great MMORPG’s to try let me know. I am loosing hope in the developers of this game.
