I share your sentiment Desyah, I see so much potential in the PvP aspect of GW2, and considering how much they failed in the PvE aspect you’d think that they would try to at least polish up and allow the competitive scene to grow within the game.
But instead, we get to the expansion without viable PvE and no Ranking system for PvP.
If they werent adding greatsword + scythe to Necromancer I honestly probably wouldn’t even bother with the expansion…

Anet truly feels like they know how to do all things wrong possible, and then some, RIP

So, basically we can hope that the expansion brings it, even though beyond a vague and outdated promise, there has been no mention since. Sigh, to be expected I suppose.

Hello players and staff alike, was wondering about implementing a ranking system to PvP similar to ones that already exist in games like League of Legends, Starcraft, CS:GO and such. From Bronze to some Master level type thing.
Any opinions on having such a system and was it ever brought up as a possibility?
