Currently as is, I feel Mind Stab is one of the Mesmer’s weakest abilities. It’s an extremely small AOE that most people can move out of in PvP and enemies are already out of more often than not in PvE(however this can be got around if you put it where they’re going to be since the AI often has predictable pathing.) not only that but it root the Mesmer in place temporarily which in a lot of situations, is not a good thing.
I’d like to see the AOE slightly bigger to make it less easy to inch out of and completely miss your target or actually able to hit more than one target without them being practically on top of each other. The rooting while use, while I don’t like it, I can deal with it.
I like Greatsword/Sword & Sword, gives me some range and some ways to mitigate damage when enemies get toe to toe with me. Sometimes I switch to Sword/Pistol since Illusionary Duelist is usually able to hang around longer than my other Phantasms due to it being ranged. For big events I switch to Staff and stick to that.
