Guild Wars 2

Couldn’t see anything noticeably wrong from the diagnostics. I’ve tried most the things on there myself – pinging the GW2 server, checking for packet loss, tracking the hop count, speed tests etc but I just can’t get to the root of the issue. I didn’t realise there was an update but from the looks of things, it only started acting up after the update was implemented.

Sometimes I can’t even get into the game. I’ll select a character and it’ll load Lion’s Arch but be forever on that loading screen. Managed to get on for long enough yesterday to complete my daily but I’m having less luck today. Definitely not a hardware issue, GW2 is on an SSD, running it with a 6870 and an i3 processor w/ 8GB RAM.

Anyway, hope this gets sorted soon.

EDIT: Turns out, I just can’t login on my character I want to be on. I tried creating a new character and playing on other characters and they can play the game fine. It’s just the one that I’ve been on the past couple of days that is affected by this loading glitch. Perhaps I need a new thread…
