Currently looking for a guardian, possibly necros (depending on final HoT comp). If you are not on these classes, we will always consider solid players, so don’t be shy about applying if you’re interested in getting into squad raids and GvG.

Last Argument [END] is a newly established HC WvW/GvG guild on Desolation based off a core of experienced players, several who have played the game continuously since launch. Now, we have defined for ourselves a single aspect of the game to master: Squad-based raiding and the GvGs that follow with it.

Last Argument may be a new guild, but we are a dedicated and determined group of players. We know this will be hard, but we are prepared for the long journey. We want to start something together, and work hard to achieve our goals rather than ride on the coat-tails of established rosters. We are looking for a few other players with the same interest.

We raid four days a week; Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Saturday and Tuesday feature high-intensity training sessions. You will be expected to attend a minimum of three raids and one training each week. All guild members are expected to contribute to tactics, builds and other discussions. You will also be expected to spend whatever times it takes outside of raids and training to improve your skills to the required level. While massive raiding or GvG experience is not required, we require a few things from you before applying:

• WvW rank 400
• 20,000 WvW kills
• Microphone

We are looking for one player from each class – except engineer and ranger, sorry – to join us. In addition, we may have room for a few others, depending on interest, attitude and assessed ability of players applying.

I’m going to assume you mean Desolation [EU]? If so, and you’re interested in guilds that do WvW (amongst other things) I recommend checking out DesoSpeak. Lots of Deso WvW guilds recruiting on that forum.

Thanks to everyone who joined! The raid managed to raise a total of $418, which is way above what we expected to pull off.

Thanks also to the SFR and ER who were on the map. I apologize for the blob vs. guild raids, but we could not get everyone into EB. In any case we did it for cancer research!

And an extra shout out to the truly awesome ER and SFR players who even donated in support of Cookie’s and our cause. Friendship across borders. <3

Wednesday (tomorrow!) at 17:00 GMT, Extraordinary Gentlemen [EXG] member Eventyret (Cookie Monster in-game) will be hosting a Twitch stream to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Eventyret is a long-time EXG member whose girlfriend has survived cancer not once, but twice. To support her – and the people who do an amazing job developing the things that have kept her alive – he wants to help raise funds so they can keep progressing. Cookie has been streaming many times this week, and plans to stream more, both before and after the raid as well.

During the stream, Cookie Monster will be doing the following:

- ALL PINK Jumping Puzzle Race (with prizes)
- ALL PINK WvW Community Raid (Desolation, EU), starting 18:00 GMT
- ALL PINK Bounty Hunt with a PC target
- ALL PINK Newbie tPvP
- Maybe some PINK Quaggan Ball too!

Cookie has gotten well over 100 gold in donations for giveaways. In addition, another guild member just now donated Dawn – yes, the precursor – as a giveaway! So, come join Cookie on his quest to raise funds for the medical heroes that have saved his girlfriend’s life twice.

Just want to give a quick cheers to VZ commander Mechamilk.7809 of [OWTL] for taking the initiative and trying to arrange a server versus server on EB around 30 minutes ago!

I know the other commander was screwing with you guys, but we had wildcards too, so it’s no problem. The bloody mess was good fun anyway!
