Guild Wars 2

Now it has been almost a year. It’s funny because this should be so simple to fix unless they really messed stuff up bad. It makes you wonder, can they not spare someone for 1-2 hours to add a couple lines of text or was HoT really the disaster that people say it was. Time will tell I guess.

If they were smart (which they are not) they would have these 6 developers work on putting content back into the game that should never have been removed in the first place; SAB, Queen’s gauntlet, adding parts of season 1 to the story journal… Maybe even just put wvw back the way it was. This would create content to fill the drought and make players happy to see or revisit some of the past story arcs. Surely this would be faster than building original content and it would give the team working on LS3 a little more time to get their act together.

Any update on when this will be fixed? The Revenant has been available for four months and this issue is still there.

If you have an old character that completed the personal story before the “feature pack” the history is all messed up. It shows the story steps in the original order except the last one is “Temple of the Forgotten God” repeated a second time instead of “Victory or Death”. This is such a joke. They can’t even redo the story to a version that everyone hates without creating a bunch of bugs that they pretend don’t exist and reuse to address.

I refuse to play anymore personal story until it is fixed so now I have 3 level 80s who have not advanced beyond the first couple of chapters. Seriously guys it has been almost a year and nothing has been done despite enormous outrage from the player base. The changes could have been simply reverted and everyone would be satisfied.

I won’t spend another dime on this game until this issue is resolved. Even if all they do is fix the history for old characters. If you are going to make a mess and kitten everyone off at least do it in a consistent bug fee manner. Hit them in the pocket book. It is the only way they will listen.

They are just inferior developers. I love GW2 but I despise Anet. They are horrible at supporting their games. I told myself this many time before I started playing GW2. I said remember what they did to GW1 but the new game was so enticing. I left WoW, D3 and SC2 for a game I knew that they would eventually ruin, destroy and give up on. This is just how they are. Not much else to say really. Blizzard is not perfect but at least they have a plan and support their games. This is not something that Anet has ever done. I enjoy GW2 much more than WoW but over the long haul the latter will remain supreme despite it’s flaws. Sorry but it’s the truth.
