Dear Mags,
We took SM. In EU prime time.
Love,
Me
Come back to Tarnished Coast and give me back my shoes!
Tried to invite FA for a nice picnic dinner.
Some people are so rude. I swear.
Edit: No, not the dragon-winged FA lady in the picture. Thanks for staying back to bow even when your friends face-rolled me over :p
(edited by Jayne.8749)
Could someone from SoR and from the guild Vegeance [VNG] contact me please?
Another Jayne? OoooO!
GASP my clone! :O
Tarnished just golem zerged both FA and CD keeps in eternal to reset them.
Not sure if overkill or not.
Still, great job to everyone that was there, went along very smoothly seeing we were mostly random pugs with a bit of gold to waste.
Shoutout to those that held back CD’s defense long enough with me for the golems to break through. 6 v 20 and having to run back ftl, but still successful in my book.

I was in SMC twice today when we capped and then lost it, apparently to a Mesmer. Either TC knows a crazy good hiding spot or someone is glitching their way in. We had people combing that place top to bottom both times and both times it flipped shortly after we left without any attacks.
My main is a Mesmer and when we’ve had SMC before I’ve explored the whole thing looking for good spots to hide. I have four places I check, I checked all four both times, nothing (and when I check them I wait long enough for any stealth to expire, including swinging my sword around to see if it chains).
This to me is suspicious. If it’s someone hiding really well, then hats off but I suspect someone is using some kind of exploit.
TC player and mesmer here.
On the third floor of SMC near the mystic forge there is a ledge you can jump off upon and land on. Nobody ever checks there.
I would like to add that “Jade Quarry Spy” is actually just some guy being funny. He’s one of us HoD-ers though, and you guys should really lighten up and appreciate his meta humour.
I was bummed by the fact that ArenaNet screwed JQ out of three golems. But it pleases me to know that HOD wasted five golems (I think the sixth got away) trying to take bay.
Hey Blink, on behalf of HoD, we left 3 golems in your garrison’s lord’s room to make up for the despawned, unmanned seige golems you lost.
Really sorry to hear that. We left it in the garrison in your borderlands after breaking your gates twice and coming back again.
We waved, but you never waved back as we were leaving.
Hope you enjoy the golems, courtesy of HoD!
This is incoherent.
We broke through your doors to deliver 3 golems to your garrison in your borderlands.
We left them there and bailed.
You can teleport into and through the inner walls in some areas of “Bay Keep”.
The issue was getting through the outer wall though, not the inner.
There was no breaches on the outer or inner walls that time.
We saw Dreaming Bay’s waypoint contested, and a second later we lost the orb.
When we rushed back, we saw a group of JQ’s swimming in our moat with no breaches on the outer and inner walls, and our Altar of Power broken.
One of them had the guild tag [RISE].

Nice fight on JQB a few hours ago, when we took our garrison back from HoD. I didn’t think we’d manage it, but we did. The follow up against When Golems Attack to defend it comes a nice close second.
Special shout out to the giant zerg of HoD that killed me outside the citadel when I was at an arrow cart. I lold for a good ten minutes.
We fought hard to keep that garrison, and again to try and take it back.
Props to JQ. I can honestly say that you guys are putting up a much better fight than ET in Red BL.
Today, at Dreaming Bay on JQ borderlands, we were planning for an attack on garrison which required leting DB get up to a decent supply stockpile. Just as we were almost there, someone mysteriously bought a useless personnel upgrade burning through 900 supply.
A small group of people were also using DB’s supplies to repair a wall being trebbed when told specifically not to. Wall was >80% hp.
Attack on Garrison? Why do it after HoD kitten it with 15 golems?
It was actually for the golem kittening. The supply was to build the golems.
And it was 25.
Behold the Borg of Denravi
Was that the golem army that went to bay and utter destroyed by the JQ zerg with no seige? Or was that the second golem army to replace the first?
Nah, it was the one that pounded on and took your garrison in your home map.

@Tito- Then it simply requires more effort. How do winning servers do it? It’s not impossible.
Or rather
“waaaah, they’re playing different times than me in a 24/7 battle. They MUST BE BOOOTED”
@hunTShoo – Then it’s the responsibility of the server with no night coverage to plan and strategize and recruit oceanic/night players.
I can not imagine how more can one miss the kitten point.
Free transfers allow for mitigation of the whole “night-capping” problem by allowing you guys to recruit whatever guilds play at that time.
Free server transfers also allow for you guys to recruit more WvW guilds, if your server is filled with people but are mainly PvE
WvW is an alternate gaming scenario and environment. At no time is WvW the entirety of GW2
WvW is 24/7, always have been, and is international. EU players can play on NA servers and vice versa. The reason why they divided up into the two reasons is most probably ping.
If you’re complaining about “night cappers” taking everything you captures in “prime-time”, ask yourself how you would feel if your nightly exploits and battles are rendered null by the opposing server’s primetime team. Again, you don’t want your oceanic friends and counterparts to feel alienated, do you? If not, go ahead and make them feel like it doesn’t matter and they’re second class players.
This is why you actually appoint people to take charge of supply camps, to defend, upgrad, call yaks, etc. This ensures that supply reaches keeps for seige and maintennance and upgrades.
