I just got booted and tried 10x in a row to log in and can’t. I get their send an error report message every time. I have a 64 bit system, so that is bullkitten what they are telling you. This is an issue that has being going on for months because the game is poorly written (according to others who know more about it than I do). This happens to me daily. It is completely random, nothing in common about any of the crashes. Sometimes it freezes, sometimes bsod, sometimes I get error report, sometimes it just closes through windows. Regardless, it sucks and they have offered no eplanation other than passing the blame onto the users. There are literally hundreds of different setups from these users though, so I have yet to see how it is a user problem. Good luck on getting anything fixed by what they tell you. After hours and hours of testing and exhaustive research on the fourms to fix this, nothing has changed for me or the hundreds or thousands of others with the same issue. Welcome to our world. I keep hoping one day they address this, but not in the last 90.

I have the same problem as you NvN. But I am watching the fan speed and temp on my card and it has never gotten close to overheating. I am saying based upon Nvidia’s max temp being about 95C, and my card has never gotten to 65C and fan speed never above 55%. My gpu however has maxxed out reccomended temps many times, sometimes I crash from that sometimes I don’t. I do get very random crashes though, and random types…from bsod, to game freezing, to windows shutting it down, to kicking me out and asking for a report from anet. And at random places and time intervals of playing. Completely random with everything involved….that I can see. I am not a programmer, but with all the info they have from me I am sure they can see some consistency, I just can’t. Regardless, it still isn’t fixed. I have tried every solution I have seen on the forums to no avail. Other than the one you just stated. Just thought I would throw that out.

So basically you are telling me (verifying what I have found elsewhere) that my cpu sucks. I am debating about OC but it runs so hot now trying to play this game that I am not going to ruin my computer over it. The game is fun when I can play, but I think it is terrible that I crash so much. I keep finding more posts about bottlenecking now. I know I am not alone in my constant crashes (which have nothing to do with recent patches) based upon hundreds of other posts I have read and attempted fixes, to no avail. There has been thousands of attachments but yet no mention from anet that there is an issue on their part. It must be a problem with the hundreds of people, myself included, and whatever setup they have, despite most finding no issue with anything else they attempt to do on their systems. I am constantly checking the forums and patches to find a fix, but so far not even acknowledgement that there is a problem with the random crashes.

For my part, sometimes I get windows shutting down the program, sometimes the game freezes, sometimes the game quits and asks me to send a report, sometimes bsod. Sometimes I can play for hours, sometimes minutes, sometimes I can’t even log in. There is zero consistency. I monitor my temps on my cpu, gpu, and case and there isn’t even consistency there. It does run hot playing the game, but I crash as much at 45 degrees as I do at 60+ degrees on cpu (gpu and case are always good). Maybe all this fits into this bottlenecking. I guess I don’t know enough about computers to figure it out. What I do know…is a bit of common sense would tell you that way too many people are having problems (basically identical problems with different setups) and no issues with anything else they run that I would suggest it is a game issue. I wish I could fix my computer to not crash, but I have tried every fix I have read, and nothing has worked. So I wait and keep sending nasty feedback everytime they ask for a report. It makes me feel better to vent my frustration to them Until they address it, I will keep playing when able until I finally lose it and quit. But what do they care….they already got my money. But they won’t again if this isn’t resolved very soon.

You are obviously missing my point….computer specs from hundreds of people have been posted, thousands of dxsdiag posting, screenshots out the wazoo (I like that word) as well as the same hardware combos that dozens of others are using, etc. This problem transcends my stuff, but I realize they want my specifics to narrow the cause down. The problem is that this has been going on for months with ZERO progress even with hundreds of people posting all of this. Without trying to be annoying, I have the latest drivers for all of my hardware, verified by the people who helped me build my comp, as well as my online searching (and again I have tried older versions too) and I have the same hardware combinations as many others who have the same issue. Long story short—one more list of reports isn’t going to turn the light bulb on for these people. Other than a one on one consultation nothing will be resolved as an issue on my computer from their end, and I have exhaustively eliminated that from every other aspect. I am basically trying this as a last ditch effort that maybe this is the straw that breaks the camel’s back and they fix it.

I am crashing more now than ever. Game freeze that I have to ctrl alt del out, sometimes I can send a report and helpful info (how about hire new people that are able to fix issues) or even bsod. I have done every fix listed in all the forums so far. I have exhaustively tried to make sure it is not my computer. And again and again and again I crash. I have tested, retested, and checked again. This game is the only thing I have any trouble at all in running. I do not have the authenticator running, I have updated every driver, rolled them back, clean installed, you name it. NOTHING has changed with anything I have done. I have not seen anything that suggests there is a consistency with this problem. All types of systems with all types of setups have had the same issue. I would like to know what is being done to address this. It has been months that you have been aware of the issue. I am only posting here that maybe, just maybe someone can relay this to someone who can actually do something. Apparently support tickets, other posts, etc. don’t seem to work. So I thought I would be one more person kittening about how bad this is and maybe this will be the post that gets someone to get this resolved.

If someone from anet wants to know anything about my setup, please contact me, as I am so frustrated and tired of cussing your lack of support so far. I want a resolution to this or at least an attempt to resolve it. I want it to be public knowledge, because so far you appear to be in denial that there is a problem on your end. Just because you can’t fix it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. I can duplicate it easily. Hell, I will send you my computer and you can see how bad it is. Just please do something to make this right.
