I wish they would let us queue for ranked/unranked while still in hotjoin. =(

In wvw I see the stat increase, but in pvp and pve I don’t see any changes, can Anet please confirm one way or another if its just not showing up in character stats page, or are we really not getting the 200 Toughness, and if so; shame on you, fix it! =)

I noticed it’s not showing the stat increase also, is it just like a “tooltip” issue where its applying the increase but we don’t see it, or full on bugged out and we are not getting the increase at all ?

As a JQ’r who plays from 10:00pm to 2:00am PDT/PST. I can tell you from personal experience we are dead in the water during these hours. I have tried NA guilds, but they all tend to pin down around 10-11pm PDT/PST, and I have tried several Oceanic based guilds, but they don’t pin up tell 2-3am PDT/PST, leaving a 4 to 6 hour gap in coverage nightly (sometimes early-NA pins do OT on weekends, as do Oceanic pining up early etc., but most the week it’s dead) and as this is my primary play time, trust me it is frustrating to say the least, and other servers ridiculing anyone who tries to recruit for JQ only tends to exacerbate the issue for us “late night west coasters” looking for a proper home.

What JQ is in desperate need of is a guild that primarily plays/pins/recruits for this 4 to 6 hour gap. At the risk of sounding like we are trying to “Stack”, I would love for anyone/guild who plays late nights on the west coast to give serious thought about joining the ranks here at JQ.

Most my alts have put a ton of work into both their PVE, and PVP looks, will we get to choose what set/look we go with upon logging on after patch? or should I be very careful where I log out before patch? (like if id rather go with my pvp look, make sure I log out in mists pvp lobby, or if I like my PVE look more make sure I leave mists before patch?)

OR am I charged transmutes to pick out my look upon logging on?

I think many things (including luck) play a factor, like who you win against, how many games played (or lack of games played, so defaulting to higher value, if/when beating harder teams) When I just started trying the SoloQ out (had not touched it really, mostly do teamQ) I ranked very high (8th place) but as I played more games, I leveled out to what seems to be a more “real” placing (hovering between 50-200ish) Really I think getting 8th place was just a fluke due to having played so few games in the SoloQ at that point, the more games I play the better it seems to be at placing me where I belong (around 50ish to 200ish area).

Agreed, while I find merit in keeping an AOE cap in WvW, I see no use of it for spvp/tpvp, they have been able to nerf/buff things for just pve/wvw in the past, why not look into at least allowing a larger cap, if not zero caps for AoE in at least the pvp setting.

trust me, Anet systematically claims its “your ISP, not us” so often its a joke to even submit a ticket.

When I am playing my engi, game runs smooth as silk, but when I play my necro, I get this odd lag, like my skills need to “catch up” or rubber banding like lag? but really only when I play on my necro.

what am i doing wrong, talked to my ISP, replaced my cable modem… I am at a loss.

im on a 25mb connection, intel i7 16gb ram, SLI x2 660ti’s ..Im at a loss.

I have called my ISP, Replaced my Cable Modem, contacted Maingear (who I have 100% warranty under with a decent system intel i7 16gb ram, with 2x SLI GTX 660ti’s high end coolant system etc.) and they have gone over my system with great care, I know you have herd this all before but really according to the several hours via tech support, and research/testing I really do feel like my systems is fine.

But try as I might, I get what I can only describe as “combat lag” like the games catching up with whats happened in the battle, I use to only get this once in a VERY small while via WVW in very large fights, but again it was RARE! now I get like every minute or so in even spvp, or pve combat.

in tpvp play this can be very annoying I feel a lot of fights did not end well due to my combat hiccuping, and a few moments later “waking up dead” or far from where I was standing before.

I ask in map chat if anyone else is having trouble and no one replies, leading me to think its just me, and calling my ISP back, or Maingear back over and over, but they have exhausted all their resources, and even they feel like I should just ask you guys.

help!!! this has become unplayable it’s too often.

glad it’s not just me, I mean I am running semi ok system (intel i7/16gb/ssd/ x2 gtx660ti cards via SLI) and up tell the patch (2days ago, not sure when just when this last big patch hit after the downtime) loading screens would take like maybe 1 to 3 sec’s if that? now I sit waiting for 20 to 35 secs on average. =(

As someone who has odd work hours, and can only log in a bit here, a bit there, this has been wonderful! I mean it’s not perfect some times of night, when it’s low pop’ I am sure some team synching could happen, but this is a far cry better then being automatically teamed up against some pre-made team ready to rock via the team queue, for me this is the best option.

Really I noticed the team who is most vocal wins, I have found just at get go of match quickly cut pasting a few “tips” into team chat; this goes a long way to a win.

“if no enemy is near, it only takes one to cap”
“points mean nothing”
“hold mid +1, let me roam”

I mean just being upfront and vocal with your team can go a long way.
