I used to play regularly, but had some problems shortly before Heart of Thorns released where my account was compromised and it took over a month to gain control of it again and even then it had been stripped of gold and gems. Eventually I got my gold and gems restored, but by then a the game had changed so much I couldn’t even make heads or tails of the new UI organization and basically stopped playing until recently. I’m now back and trying to relearn stuff and I’ve noticed that my collections don’t have any of the minis that I collected back in the day like the winterfest plushies and even my Rytlock that came with my Collector’s Edition of the game. Do I need to do something to get these old collection items into the new collection system or is my stuff just gone?

It has been 5 days since my original ticket. Despite the email verification system in place my account was compromised Saturday, April 19 and I lost all my gold and gems, and most likely quite a bit more (I was too upset to investigate further). I filed a support ticket as soon as possible and got a relatively prompt response (same evening), but it seemed like the support agent didn’t even bother to read my description of the issue and just sent a password reset link to me. I followed up on the ticket the next afternoon and reiterated my gem/gold/item loss and hacked account and received response from another agent who also seemed to completely ignore my issue and sent me another password reset. I was rather frustrated with my experience, but I waited two days to see if I got any acknowledgement that support was aware that I was hacked and needed a rollback, but got no new communication and put in another ticket (I realize now this may only slow things down). That was Tuesday and it’s now Thursday. I’ve read numerous threads similar to mine, and it usually seems resolution happens within a few days; I’m just afraid that I’ve fallen through the cracks…

I’m going through the same problem but luckily I’ve maintained control of my account so I can still login (although all my gems and gold are now gone). I’ve gotten responses from two different support reps but all they seem to want to do is change my password. I very explicitly explained that my account was logged into by somebody and they took all my gems and gold and all I get back is “we reset your password”. I don’t think the support staff speaks English (either that or all they’re empowered to do is send password resets), so best of luck to you my friend…

My account just got hacked into over the weekend and I lost all of my gems and gold… I put in a support ticket and so far I’ve just been given the runaround having me reset my password several times. ArenaNet seems to think password resets fix all problems. I’m now waiting on a second support ticket to see if I can get some results…
