There were no changes to make any creatures harder than they previously were in the patch on Tuesday, and the damage on Veterans and Champions in the events using the new event scaling should be significantly closer to what was intended.

We’re still looking at the difficulty of these events, and may make more changes in the future. If anybody has played any of the events using the new scaling since the patch, feedback is definitely welcome.

Just did the ‘Defend Jofast’s Camp’ and it was going great… Until the Champion Risen Wraith showed up during the last wave.

Even though the damage it did with his Life Transfer was lower, it singlehandedly caused the event to fail because it’s a long range channeled AoE that seems to last for what seems like 20-30 seconds.

So once you get a single Champion Wraith, that event WILL FAIL every single time because of its ridiculously long channel of Life Transfer.

This. The event was doing fine until the champ came up along with a vet and wiped all the NPCs, causing the event to fail.

There’s a real need to look at the one-shot kill skills of the enemies. More players → more enemies and the NPCs getting killed instantly because of mass enemy AOE is not good

Not sure if this will describe my experience but in places where there’s a lot of people, like Lion’s Arch or certain world events, there seems to be a delay in the loading of both other player and enemies.

Eg a defend the camp event in Cursed Shores, where waves of enemies would come in.
Ranger traps and Engineer Turrets would fire off while I would only see the enemies come in a second later by which time the enemies would either already be dead or at half life. In the extreme cases, the enemies would still be alive and hitting me a few times before I can see them and be able to select them for attack. The combat chat would read xxx damage from unknown.

Would this be a problem with my graphic card not being able to handle the amount of objects on screen or my network not being able to load the data from the server in time?
