Bumping this because I want a reply from Arenanet. I personally think this suggestion is great and should be reviewed further with the community so we can come to a proper solidified plan. The word on the street is that a lot of guilds will be coming back with the Heart of Thorns expansion, this is THE opportunity to do something right for the guilds that enjoy big scale PvP. The same players that have been playing your game for 3 years creating a brand new game mode, anxiously hoping that you will hear their call and not turn a deaf ear to what they have to say.

It has been said before in this thread, your combat system is amazing for this type of thing. Don’t let it go to waste. Some of the suggestions in this thread are great. The perfect opportunity to ‘’Set a foundation’’ as you would like to call it. If this doesn’t happen then I fear for the competitive scene of WvW, because there will be new games on the horizon and the people WILL leave.

We did run tagless until the last few minutes of our raid when we had too little people to make a difference inside the borderland, the problem is that it seems like we run tag because we have 20 non ZD’s running with us. We don’t do it on purpose, they just follow us by their own accord.

Still waiting for BG to produce some facts on how SoR was dominating them going into league.

Basicaly what BG and ZD is saying is SoR had greater ppt than them for an hour 1 day out of the week and that made them under dogs.

Funny how BG keeps on ignoring the numbers that clearly show BG was the dominant server going into leagues. Sorry ZD, you went to the stacked server who was already in a good position to win….you will forever be tainted by this move.

Before I start let me clarify something that people like to forget. I can’t speak for all servers, but I know enough about what’s going on BG to know that BG has never ever given more than the cost of a guild to move. In fact, I know of no particular case where it was more than 50% of the moving costs. In ZDs case, it was much much less. So for the definition of helping guilds move, or “buying” I’m talking about 50% or less than the guild cost to move.

50% is a lot of money, especially for a large guild like ZDs. If they moved 100 members (which I know for sure it is an underestimation) here, it’ll be a little bit under 3000G? Isn’t that buying, if you’re not hoping that they will return the money? I mean, most of the WvW’ers can make enough gold to transfer themselves at least a few times.

How many members do you reckon they have in their guild? Take a rough estimation if you will, please.

Oh yeah, im complaining. All i wanted to do was to prove you deluded BG that ZDs doesn’t blob and run only 15-20. GG.

Is there some sort of rule in WvW that you must run 25? Because I don’t see it. Just because ZDs plays WvW like it is intended doesn’t mean you have to get kitten because you don’t understand how the gamemode works.

Oh yes, it’s clear that 1 to 1 fights ZBs destroys GD, the GvG proves it. GD have lost to ZBs 0-4, oh wait it’s the other way around, sorry.

The best part of it is that WvW is not GvG. But guess you ll crack up in here.

Mhmmmmm, ZBs never run more than 10 people tops in WvW.

That would still be more than IRON runs, so I hear from the last few weeks.
