Messing around with this issue more I actually don’t think it has anything to do with moving. For example, when I use the elementalist’s shatterstone the casting bar will completely fill but instead of casting the spell I will immediately start to throw Ice shards again. If anyone could let me know if I am alone in this or give me a way of fixing it that would be great.

I’ve been playing GW2 for a while now, but only just recently I’m noticing that my spellcasting is often interrupted while I am strafing. The interesting part is if I disable my auto attack and cast the same spell while moving in the same manner the spell is not interrupted. Is this a bug with a recent patch or something? Ankittenhe only one having this issue? I don’t remember this happening even a few days ago but now it’s just becoming aggravating to play with.
