+1 here!

I´ve got bloody 5 characters at lv.80 and 2 at lv.50ish thus making me preview all kinds of gear!. But this “fix” just made things alot more troublesome for me to find gear I like for my characters!

Who wants to change character each time he/she wants to preview an armor type which is not wearable by that profession???

Also its interesting previewing armor types people link on the chat, but this is hindering us from doing so if the items arent of the same armor class your character your currently playing.

Though, right after we killed Jormag´s Claw everyone got disconnected! Want to know if this happened to others here on the forum

SE path 1

Have done path 1 myself a couple of times both before and after the “noticable” change to it.

I´d like to point out that path 1 is now as we all know very dependent of a party with high dps. Making professions with other than a dps build less valuable for path 1 and that they are lowering the overall high dps needed for this path.
Would also like to say this is almost like the last boss in CoF path 1. A couple patches ago this boss was extremely hard to kill due to the high HP regeneration he could get, meaning that you would also need a party with a high overall dps. So the Anet team nerfed him so this path became alot more popular(even more than path 2 I´d say).

Are the dps builders suppose to be the only ones to be able to complete SE path 1 Anet? Or do we have to retrait before this dungeon and get ourselves gear matching a dps trait-build to be able to complete a content like SE path 1, even if there are players like myself who doesn´t like to go all out dps?

Also, about all the whining about SE path 1 and just generally whining itself. I believe people have the right to whine as long as they bring a good point to their opinion. You can´t tell people to stop whining just because you have been able to do the dungeon or likely in other cirtumstances.

There are now two consumables in the gem store that will let you do this!

also, with those your only able to change the colour to the standard colours which really resrticts the choices of colours/dyes.

Okey, just wanna give you a heads up about my native language not being english so please bear with me if you don´t understand certain parts.

At first when I was playing my mesmer I never really cared about it till later levels. But the purple(ish) theme on them isn´t really that nice. Your phantasms being purple and the skill effects also having purple animation effects can be quite tiresome at times.
So why not give the mesmers a certain item that changes the effects so the phantasms become red(or any other colour) instead and also the skill effects. This item could be bought through gemstore or be a certain drop from Black Lion chests or whatever.

This is the first idea I came up with and I am surely not the only one who´s prolly came up with it. If this suggestion would wake some attention then why not also include the other professions skill effects!

Another example could be to add an item that changes the guardians skill effects so they look more divine like(adding bright colours when they are being used and such).

These effects would of course not change any mechanisms in the skills. They would just be added as a vanity thing. Making you feel your character is more unique when it comes to looks and adds more flavour to those who likes to roleplay.

Would have a much greater feel if you were in a party with two mesmers. While one would have the CoF gear and have flame-like skill animations and the other crow-like animations with the TA gear(i.e when his copies dies, instead of purple butterflies popping up from the copies there could be black crows instead)

Of course these things should have some boundaries so it doesnt go over the top. Would be kinda ridiculous if an engineer had baby toy-like animations for example. It would also have to leave some space for other future professions so they could have their own themes.

Please add more ideas to this, or just write if you do not agree with this idea and explain why.

Edit: Another way of obtaining these effects could also be by farming materials to create them in the mystic forge, just like legendaries.

There are way too many people shouting LFG and LFM now in LA, and about 95% of those people are doing it for the new Fractal dungeon.

It just keeps spamming and I actually enjoyed reading the conversations people could have /m, but now it´s just spam with LFG LFM shouts.

Okey just figured out(and also read on forum there after to confirm) that the escort quest gets bugged when an npc dies. Period!

Anyway, we had a really big group of people last night trying to do it(around 30-40 people). We started the first escort quest at south. Everything went well all the way to Lone Post. With this group we should have no problem at all preventing the npc´s from dying. Only thing is, the last Southern Invasion escort event never started. The defend quest at Lone post and Escort the Pact squad to the conservatory event started to loop over and over. Even after we completed the whole Northern invasion part, the southern invasion was still stuck in its loop.
Also did this escort quest now after the reset and we were only 3 people this morning so we failed just before the dead tree when an npc died(Order of Whisper Agent).

Has there been any threads about this with an actual Anet person addressing this issue? Would get my hopes up at least a little if they could just make a quicky reply saying they are aware of this issue and are looking into it.

Also want to add that I`m now pretty sure I`m speaking in behalf of at least 30-40 GW2 players.

Would be great if a higher up could respond to this! Would be ridiculous if we had to wait 1 month for this bug to get fixed as I know other bugs have had that wait time to get fixed.

Yupp bugged on Far Shiverpeaks too. Only need the obsidian shards to get The Juggernaut but this bug i preventing me to get them.

Update
After the finale yesterday. A guild tried to pull the giant who spawns nearby so he can kill the npcs. I joined and we didn´t succeed even after an hour after 1am.
The morning after when there was a quick maintenance and the server reset I log in to check the event. The event got reset of course but the npc group got bugged again at the water where a wave of mobs spawned. This time me and random people could pull the giant to them so the event would reset. Though the npc bugged at the same spot again so we did the same event reset.

Anyway, in total during this morning we tried to do the event 3 times as it would just get bugged at the water where a new wave spawns.

The event seem to bug out at the spots where the event mobs spawn(so far as I know they spawn at the dead tree and by the water).

I only need these last obsidian shards to get The Juggernaut, and this event is preventing me and all us other players who has farmed alot for the lengedaries to get them.

Also want to add that this is a ridiculous way to obtain the Obsidian Shards. Considering it is in Traits of Devastation! It could have been in The Cursed Shore instead or another zone where there are alot of players. There are very few people playing inTraits of Devastation!

This is my main Freja Ragnarök. She got all tier 3 cult. gear except for the gloves and boots. Liked the cult 2 more so I´m skipping those=)

I`m actually really upset here. Symbol of Wrath was one of the skills I used within every aspect of the game(PvE, Dungeons, WvW, sPvP). I´m a greatsword wielder with Mace/Shield as secondary. The Damage and retaliation was a part of my dps output but now it´s been nerfed, I feel the dps output has been lowered alot.

In dungeons I could rely on it when facing a group of mobs in melee but now it feels like I can only activate it ones and then pray to god the mobs are dead before the symbol effect wears off. It will now be more of a skill you save for certain situations making the 1 and 2 skills the only reliable ones to use in fights, and yes that makes this the greatsword guardian more boring to play.
No guardian uses the 3 skill(which is now the leap attack) in the middle of the fight. It´s just an attack to shorten the distance beteen you and the target(s) imo. The dps output is better with 1 than using 3 in the middle of the fight. About the same thing applies to the 5 skill. You only pull max 5 targets to you instead so you can gain aggro easier from the mobs. And yes 5 skills cooldown is sometimes annoyingly long. This talk about the other skills are relevant since the nerf just gave the greatsword guardian another less reliable skill.

In WvW it definitely had its use. I was even conservative about using the skill, saving it for situations where I would take alot of dmg/tank. But now I have to be even more careful about using this skill.
Fights in PvP(and dungeons) can be long and the cooldown on the skill is just horrible now! The cooldown factor + the skills demand of one standing still when using it(you can´t run while using this skill) is just bad. Sure I can just switch to another weapon, but that would ruin the whole fact of being a greatsword guardian.

Darn it Anet! I do not agree to this. I really relied on this skill. This “general boon to keep up all the time” demands that we stand still within the symbol too! In pvp the enemies just need to take one single step away to counter this and stop attacking till we no longer got the retaliaiton boon, same about PvE when mobs just aggros another player who´s not within the symbol! This explanation could be alot better explained!

I very rarely write on any forums. But this really made me upset, wanting you Anet to know at least my feelings about this nerf to us greatsword guardians! Don´t want this to turn into an essay so I´ll stop right here.
