One of the recent blogs said that they were looking to make old dungeons more on par with fractals in terms of gameplay. Also, they buffed the rewards to them greatly, making them worthwhile to do, but most people are still caught up in fractals to realize it. I made about 2g from HotW Story (yes, story) mode the other day. I’ve also been making decent cash on others, but have been fractal’n a lot.

Also, gw2lfg.com is great for finding groups. I haven’t had to search more than 15 mins for a group. Even non-fractals.

Alright Anet, lets be honest. Frac is an amazing dungeon, in fact, it’s probably the best dungeon in the game. That is a good thing, right? Mmm…maybe not.

It has become very difficult to find groups for other dungeons. Too many players only want to grind Frac (which is ok, if thats what they want to do), but there are still groups of people that still want to get the tokens for other dungeons such as HotW, CoF or Arah to get exotic gear.

Anet, you guys are a very intelligent team (give credit where its due, GW2=great game), but could you come up with a way to make those other dungeons attract players again? Just so that there isn’t a high concentration of players in one area.

Suggestions? Maybe, slowly re-make the dungeons so that they are diverse and entertaining like Frac (I know, I know, that would take too much time and energy!!)

How about you add a small amount of Frac tokens that can be attained through the other dungeons…? Or introduce more exotic gear in the other dungeons.

I don’t know, just suggestions (not good ones to say the least lol) , I’m not the game developer and I am sure you guys can come up with something!!

I think too, it would help for guild recruitment’s…sometimes I see people post in the guild forums, but I think to my self “why bother even looking, what if they are not even on my server, chances are they are not. Then I have to server transfer, and what if their server is full” Too much hassle…where as if there was a forum for my server, I could just look and see who’s recruiting within my server

I don’t think PvE guesting would be hurt by the server forums because we would still have the general forums and other forums still available.

I was wondering why there aren’t any forums for the servers. I’d like to see what the discussions and issues pertaining to each specific server are

Nothing really technical, just more on the line of “O, this guild joined our server” or “this guy is good to have on your team for spvp” or “last nights frac group was epic”.

Things like that really bring the best out of servers and could even compel people to stay within their server, assuming their friends are on the same server and are not trying to jump servers for WvW.

I remember in when I use to play WoW Vanilla (LONG time ago) it was fun to read up on my own server community events, issues, players etc. It would be nice to see specific people/guilds being brought up in discussions for whatever reason, good or bad. In addition, it created a better sense of community within the server…

Anet, make it happen.

O! And please Add Dueling. There are so many times when I want to polish up my PvP skills but can’t.

Other times, ill look at people and just want to test their skill but can’t. Anyways…go to work Anet.

I think you guys should make a mode where people can have 2v2, 3v3 etc. But with our PvE characters…I think it would be nice to see my actual character with his selected gear and all the other things in one of those matches. I think it would make the sPvP that much more personal and interesting to play in. Just a thought.

Well I know for certain there’s a rendering bug in the mac client as some objects don’t go high-res ever they just stay with a horrible texture. EDIT: Graphical lag has disappeared.

Just thought I’d mention but apart from that the port is looking spectacular, thanks ArenaNet I really appreciate you bringing a port to Mac.

How did you get the lag to go away?

Ok! I can confirm this works too! Did this @ my schools Library too! So I saved a huge amount of time.

Hmm, I know its a Beta, but to anyone who has a 13" mbp 2011, I find GW2 runs slightly better on Bootcamp Windows 7.

If you already have the game installed on Windows, you can just copy the game data over to your Mac installation in order to avoid the huge download. Just install the Mac package from the website, then right-click on the app icon, select show package contents, then go Resources -> Transgaming -> c_drive -> GW2. Copy your GW2.DAT there. Launch the app – it will quickly patch and voila!

Once I go into resources, I don’t see transgaming…I see some .tif files, tginstall.icns and tginstall.plist. I see some other things that seem irrelevant too like language packages it looks like…am I missing something here?
