Can we please have the option to keybing gliding or disable it at will?

For the love of guild wars can we PLEASE have the option to change gliding keybind.

This is by far my biggest complaint with HOT since launch, really messes up jumping puzzles. Please please please

Anet Support team came through for me! They fixed my mistake and were very nice and professional in doing so. I still think they need to be more clear in game about what unique means though, to prevent this from happening to other people. I learned my lesson and hope other people can avoid what i just went through.

I will, this is the last email i received from support.

“Thanks for contacting the Guild Wars 2 Support Team.

The support team is not able to restore currencies such as laurels or badges of honor to any player at this time. However, we might be able to provide you with an item that costs an equal amount of currency. But we need you to delete the unwanted item. Please respond with the exact date and time of the deletion of the item.

We hope to hear from you soon."

I already sent them a email back saying i deleted the item and wish to receive the Ancient Mursaat Token in exchange. Fingers crossed at this point.

Thank you Navi for that, seems like i’m not the only one whos made this mistake after all. I just hope I have good luck with customer support on this issue like the others. As 12 Guild commendations and 5 Gold is a lot to lose on something this silly.

While i agree this is my mistake, IT IS NOT VERY CLEAR IN GAME. I thought Unique stood for special, as in i got the best gear in the game, i achieved something great. They did not give any warning what so ever. It should of said “Are you sure you want to buy this item, you can only have one equipped at a time per character.” Or something along those lines. Im sure im not the first to make this mistake, and i probably will not be the last, into they make it clear in game. Or have a sell back option for like 15 min or so. Either way i opened up a support ticket and i hope they get it resolved for me. Like I said, its my mistake, but its a very easy one to make, and I think that should be fixed. [Incident: 130722-000075] for reference.

I already have and use one Celestial Sigil which i got through the Guild Commendation Trader. Today I got my second Celestial Sigil to use. When i got it, i noticed i could not use this on my Engineer which already has one equipped. I just played it off as a bug, so i double clicked it, to make it soulbound to see if i could use it then. I still can’t use it, and now i just figured out through guild chat, that you can only use one of the same ascended gear item on the same character. Nowhere in game does it say this, and now i have two Soulbounded Celestial Sigils and i can only use one at a time. Can i please get my Guild Commendations and 5 gold back to use on another ascended piece.

Givers armor boon bonus also goes away upon death, very annoying indeed.

Same reason as you, once i found out the givers armor was broken i stayed away from the Winter trinkets with the fear of wasting more gold.

First off thank you Bill for the update. Sorry if we got a little rowdy. I also think I speak for everyone when I say this. I think the main cause for the sudden blow up here on the forum is because it was a sudden change without prior warning. I myself have been playing since the 3 day head start, and absolutely love everything about this game, major props. I also game on three 24 inch screens using eyefinity at 5760 × 1080 and up into now everything has been perfect besides character creation and cut scenes, but you learn to live with that for playing at such an awesome resolution. I got used to playing with how it was, and I think a lot of people did, people don’t like change. You also have to remember that us eyefinity users, arguably, are more passionate about our gaming experience because of the money we have sunk into getting our hardware just they way we like it. What I would like to see is either making it an option of going back to the way it was before the patch or just make the UI user defined. I personally would love to have my map and chat on the insides of my two side screens. That way its not taking up the view on my main screen but just close enough for easy access. Also please allow for the map enlarge to take up all 3 screens again, having it only on your center screen is a waste of real estate.

I rushed home from work hoping they would have pushed out a quick fix, but I see all our pleas are being ignored. Wow, I really wish I didn’t fork out hundreds of dollars on gems before you guys pulled this crap.

You are losing the faith of so many customers from your responses and lack of concern for our quality of life in game. The UI is such a MASSIVE part of MMOs. When you break it, you break the entire game. I was totally addicted to this game before this happened, and now I have absolutely no desire to play.

ANet, go and check my access logs and you will see that prior to the patch I was spending TONS of time in game. And now since the patch I’ve been logged in about an hour or less. You’ve ruined the game for me, and because of that I’ve closed my wallet to you. Don’t you understand, you are costing yourselves tons of money by ruining the playability of the game for so many of us.

If you don’t want to lose that income, I recommend you fix the problem ASAP and not wait for the next big patch.

Yes, please allow Eyefinity users to have the old setup. The game was perfect in its old configuration with chat and party elements on the left, minimap on the right, and main GUI elements in the center.

This is not a fix, this is a step back in the wrong direction. Eyefinity is now screwed up and is downright unplayable. Everything is cluttered on the main screen at 5760 X 1080, please revert the changes. Don’t fix what is not broken my friend.

Givers armor is now providing the proper boon bonus since a couple of patches ago, but once you die the boon bonus goes away. The only way to get the bonus back is to leave and go to a new zone. I spent a nice amount of gold to get a full set of givers armor and it still does not work right. Please fix.

Now everything is cramped onto the center screen, and the map enlarge now only shows on your main center screen. Before my chat would be on my left screen and my map would be on my right screen, and the map enlarge would be on all 3 screens. Now everything is effed up and is downright unplayable. I can’t see for crap on my main screen because of all the clutter, and there is no way of moving the chat and map box to my other screens. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REVERT THE CHANGES!!!
