I have tried to quit the episode Seeds of Truth. The compass goes away for the story and gives me back the one for general land things (Waypoint, POI ect) for only a few seconds before putting me back on the story compass. I can not complete the chapter Meeting the Asura at this time because of it’s difficulty and would like to go back to completing maps but this thing won’t let me quit it.
Human ranger Level 80, currently in Bloodtide Coast. I started to try to quit in Metrica Provence but moved because I thought perhaps my proximity to the story entry point had something to do with it.
