Hi everybody, I recently got back in gw2 after the beta period when the new PC came home (Ya know, I raged playing with 2 fps, but beta is beta and I felt the duty to help), I was a big pvp fan as PvE, and I felt like GW2 was the first game that gave me variety of play-style on all professions. I never played a healer before in any game, or at least succeeded while trying to keep people alive, and throughout beta and the first period after the launch I really enjoyed playing a healing Engineer build, as well as a Warr Tactics, defense one (that was really op, but they fixed it with the trait requirement system) and a Guardian one. And for the first time I felt like I was succeeding on keeping alive someone… Well, atleast on 1v1 or 1v2 (the one being the teammate). But when I came back I tried ALL, I mean ALL OF THOSE BUILDS, even varying every kind of armor and necklace combination ever possible. But my healing was… crappy, it felt like, I was just throwing med kits made of jelly! Every game I played was fun and exciting, hell even if we lost 100/525… but now i feel like only the “bunker build” and “glasscannon” build are available in SPvP… So my question is, would you like to see a slight buff in the Compassion stat to see more variety? Because adding a new “archetype” in the PvP envoirement would be cool, especially if it’s not going to be OP… What’s your opinion?
