Say you are in Kessex Peak, and you want to fast travel to Divinity’s Reach. If you pick that waypoint which is closest to your current position it’s cheaper than taking the one on the other side of the city. Once within the city traveling is free. Doesn’t make sense really. You either pay a couple of copper more or you load twice.
I don’t really care for the copper so I gladly pay for less sitting around and more playing this game, was just wondering if it’s a minor bug or on purpose.
