I have kept my ticket up to date with every shred of data I could imagine them needing including serial, last 4 of credit card, order number etc. I opened new tickets when they told us too and then yesterday they told us not too. Seems like they have no idea. Very frustrating.

Oh god, this needs to work like right now. I’ve been waiting 8 days for my account to be accessible because of this bug. Any word on when this goes live?

EIGHT DAYS since I last was able to play because of buggy email authentication and NOBODY has answered my ticket. This is absolutely ridiculous. I’d ask for a refund but I doubt anyone would ever answer that ticket. I think it might be charge back time
It has literally been one week since I was no longer able to log into my account because of the Email Auth system never sending me an email. I submitted my first ticket last Thursday at 3pm EST and have yet to receive a single response to said ticket, despite keeping it properly updated with all the pertinent information.
In addition, I made two subsequent tickets AS DIRECTED by arenanet support. One with the headline Authorization Email Not Received and one with Blocking Issue – Ticket Submitted 8/30 – etc. This is what ArenaNet TOLD US TO DO if we had not received resolution on account login blocking tickets within the 72 hour window. Since then, we have been told to delete new tickets and just have one…. cool.
ITS BEEN A WEEK. I haven’t heard a peep from a support agent or anything despite having all the relevant information one could need in my ticket to simply disable email authorization for me. When will this be resolved? I’ve posted here and was moved to the still awaiting help mega list and still nothing. This is absurd!
I am a guild leader and have had no access to the guild features that is required of a GM so our guild has been making due with no one able to promote, queue, etc.
Please help!

You guys don’t have a clue what you are doing, do you?
First it’s open a new ticket, then its close out new ones, now edit the title (which we can’t do). Meanwhile I’m waiting for 7 days and haven’t heard a thing.

I guess at this stage there are probably THOUSANDS of Support tickets logged, My best guess is that they did not expect as many support tickets due to account compromises.
Best thing to do is to support them, i myself is just as frustrated, but kicking and screaming will not make their job easier.
I will admit though it would be nice to get an update once in a while in regards to “Progress” of the tickets, eg: “Currently handling tickets 120xxx-xxxxx” At least that way you will have some sort of idea of when you can expect assistance.
But for now, we will have to wait patiently for the ticket backlog to stabilize.
I’m just confused because they said they got to all tickets from before sept 2nd and mine, which followed the prioritize guidelines, from Aug 31st has gotten nothing.
Just makes me a sad panda
Mine from 8/30 still hasnt been dealt with either. Blocking login issue, correctly submitted.

Amen. I’m still waiting on a blocking login ticket from last Thursday despite following all the directions correctly.
I never receive an auth email and have been locked out of my original account since wednesday. I submitted a ticket to support Thursday and still havent had a response despite hearing that ArenaNet is prioritizing log in issues. Being locked out of my account for a week without hearing anything is beyond frustrating.
I have checked my spam filters and all that. I have my own email hosted with my domain and have never had a problem with any thing before. I receive arenanet emails from support page, validation, etc just fine so this is a very unique circumstance and one I am not alone in experiencing.
All I ask is that somoene turn thekittenfeature off for me, i’ve been waiting a week now. My ticket number is 120831-003231 and my display name on the account in question is Junlea.1708.
I have been waiting for 6 days now for a response to my tickets regarding not receiving and auth email and still can’t play the game. I keep hearing that tickets for log in issues are being prioritized yet I havent been able to play in a week. My ticket number is 120831-003231 and the wait is completely ludicrous. Please someone just disable email auth for my account so I can play the game already. My display name of my unusable account is Junlea.1708
