In my case this means I can look forward to 5 gifts spread across about 5 months. And wondering why I didn’t think to write the date down after all the times I wished I’d done that in GW1.
(Not that it’s a big issue, but I like to know so I don’t keep logging in thinking “Maybe it’s today…” for a week or so before the right date.)

One of the things I miss most about the original Guild Wars was the Zaishen Menagerie. Yes, I know the islands were destroyed and all that jazz, and with he way the pets are set up in GW2, there’s no actual need to have a menagerie type location (given that we can swap pets out on the fly, and there’s no need to train them), however, I still think it would be a nice little touch, having a place where those of us who have Rangers can see the pets we have collected. Maybe it could be added to the home instance, or something.
Edit: Obviously, I’m not suggesting that this should be a priority for the game. It’s not something that we need, or even really that’s going to improve the overall quality of the gameplay. It’s purely a flavor suggestion, and something that would be nice for those of us who would actually be interested in visiting a location such as this.
