I had this same bug a few weeks back, but managed to get around it. While initially it seems like there are no more enemies in the room, there are a few that somehow got stuck in the wall. Certain attacks will be able to penetrate the wall, eventually killing all the bugged enemies.

Same thing here – my wife and I just finished this and had trouble with one of the kraits getting stuck in a wall.

Will we be able to store our new crafting materials (such as the karka shells, passion fruit, and candy corn)? Currently they’re taking up much needed space in my bank. It would be nice to have them store as a collectible like other crafting materials.

Result: Skipped content to Suspicious Activity (48)

I was grouped with my wife for the “The Trap” quest, and I got the message to proceed the story, accepted that, and then when we traveled to Lion’s Arch to continue on the story quest – “Stealing Secrets” – it jumped to the level 48 quest “Suspicious Activity”.

Hello everyone, for those of you effected with the 18 level skip only (your story went from 30 to 48) do you remember if you were in a party when you joined an order? The step would have been to “Speak with the order reps” and it would have been in your home city. If you do remember, were you the owner of the instance, or were you the one tagging along? Also if you clearly remember not being in a party at that time, go ahead and note that. If anyone clearly remembers their story jumping anywhere outside of Lion’s Arch let us know. I was partnered with my wife and it was her instance, not mine. I got the update to go to Lion’s Arch for the “Stealing Secrets” quest, but once I entered Lion’s Arch, it jumped, however it didn’t for my wife’s character. Hope that helps!

Quest where bug occurred: Level 30 quests “Stealing Secrets”
Skipped to quest: “Suspicious activity” (Level 48)

I had “Stealing Secrets” active as my story quest, but once I entered Lion’s Arch it jumped to “Suspicious activity”.
