My ranger will hit level 80 this week and I would love to run some dungeons with him. However, I have no idea what weapons, builds and pets are effective in dungeons. I’m currently running a bunker build with feline pets and a longbow and axe/warhorn weapon set. I’m still looking for the most effective weapon combo and pet combo though.
I’m mostly running TA/COF/HOTW/COE. Which weapon combo’s and pets are the most effective in these dungeons and should I continue my bunker build or should I go for a more damage focused build?
Any open on EU?

Leveling is pretty much the thing you’re suppose to do the whole game. At 80 I personally do the same things as I did when I was for example level 40. The only thing that changed is that I can do the most dungeons and that I have better gear. I personally think leveling is not slow in GW. In most MMO’s, the further you get the lesser experience you get. In GW gaining experience is quite even.
But to answer your question. Wvw and dungeons are giving out lots of experience. If you can’t do a dungeon yet, explore and harvest everything. You can craft with the materials you’ve gathered, though.
I try to do CoE several days a week, because I’m after the armor. I can understand that people don’t like path 2 or 3, since Alpha is extremely annoying in these paths, but path 1 is super easy. I haven’t done all dungeons yet, but I think CoE is way more fun and easier (at least path 1) than TA or AC, which I personally hate. I always manage to find a party via gw2lfg. This month however it’s more difficult for me, I guess everyone is busy with SAB. :P
