So I suppose I should start my story with why Arah is run as a dungeon, simply put, the tokens. And I guess that achievement. Anyway I decided I was going to run path 4 with some people and thought, well this is going to be the hardest path, and may take a little while to clear. What I didn’t realize is that it ended up taking our group roughly 7 hours, before I was dragged away by concerned friends, just to get up to simin. Yes my group was a pug, and no we weren’t the greatest band of heroes, but we managed that far and 3 of us made it to that 7 hour mark without giving up, the other 2 original players might have finished. I hope so at least. Now I will make my point short and sweet. The incentive for running Arah explorer mode isn’t that high. People either run it because they have to for their legendary “gift” or they run it because they want the Arah gear. I’m sure I’m beating a dead horse right now, but simply put, it’s my opinion. Also, most of the bosses are tough and long and have the perfect balance of the two. Some of them, such as the Grenth fight, are long and easy. I thought I was going to fall asleep during that fight (that was probably ~5 hour mark). Then there are fights like Lupicus and Simin, incredibly challenging and incredibly lengthy. Lupicus wasn’t that bad, it’s doable, but still rough. And Simin is such a challenge that I wasn’t able to over come today. I’m sure there are more bosses as challenging but I’m somewhat brain dead right now and thought sharing my story would be wonderful. Who knows, maybe we’ll see a revamp some time soon.
TL;DR I spent 7 hours in Arah p4 and didn’t even finish
