Hey folks,
I finally maxed out my crafting professions, so I’m now working on getting my final weapons and armor and are considering which runes and sigils to get for them. I read all of the stickies, but there seem to be as many different opinions on these as there are builds, so it’s still hard for me to make an informed decision.
My gear is full berserker (though I’m considering going for valkyrie trinkets since I read that 50% ish base crit chance should be enough) and I’m practically always pugging doing fractals, world events or wvw zerg. I’m also not the best player, so Rune of the Scholar is probably not a good option^^ The damage % when having a pet out from Ranger runes seems very nice, but I’m not sure I want more precision.
So which are currently the go to runes and sigils?
(Currently I’m using a set of vampirism runes since they cost literally nothing and the stat bonuses seemed decent as a stop gap. Though yesterday they turned me into mist while I had the hammer in cliffside fractal and the stupid thing bugged out because of that, so never again…)
My last hope is that the supposed “new beginning for PvP” claimed for the feature patch involves seperating PvP from PvE balance.
I don’t give a kitten about PvP, from what I hear the Mesmer is fine there, but in PvE we are kitten and it’ll NEVER get fixed until they stop looking at PvP at the same time. It’s completely pointless to think about specific ways to fix the class until they seperate the game mode balance. Nothing will happen otherwise.
Before Living Story season 2 I took a break of over a year from the game. It’s insane that the Mesmer still has the same fundamental gameplay flaws he had in beta. That’s just not acceptable.
